HME Specialists, LLC

This is a five start review because of the actions taken by the HME team when things went wrong. Thanks to DeAnne Mancuso and Bill Wulfing at HME Specialists - they stopped a very busy day, and placed the needs of a frail elderly woman and her family in front of all their work, and solved a real problem. As a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator, who like HME is in the business of helping families with difficult circumstances -This prompt caring effort is worth noting as Exceptional. Dee and Bill made sure the transition home went safely as planned, and the family knew their loved one really counts. Way to Go! team HME.

I do not reconmend going to this place. I understand that things take time but having to play phone tag between HME and my doctors office over my paperwork for weeks... Dont go here.

So far I have nothing but good to say about HME. Ellie provides services for 2 of us and she is fabulous! I had previously been sent to another provider in Las Cruces, and I received many months of horrible service, a refusal to provide replacement disposable supplies, and the poorest patient teaching I have ever encountered. I really appreciate the care and attention Ellie has provided and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. I'll post an update if we encounter any problems, but so far so good!

Yvette (hope I spelled it right!!) had us in and out in under 20 minutes. Carefully explained equipment and helped us choose the best accessory, based on needs and wants. Thank you so much for your professional service!

I also wish it was possible to give a zero. 1) Office smells slightly urine. 2) No one seems to know what's going on EVER. I called everyday for a week and spoke to the same gentleman named Marco every time. He was polite and friendly and NEVER ONCE remembered having spoken to me. REALLY? REALLY? Every day! 3) Can get the same story twice. This kinna goes with 2, but one person says yes they have it and you can pick it up as soon as they hear back from the insurance; the next person can't find your info at all; the next person tells you they are out of stock and it will be 2-3 weeks. 4) They deliver, which should be a plus unless no one told you they deliver (again spoke to Marco daily and even mentioned my husband would need to pick it up for me) and some one needs to be home to sign like 7 papers. I called my doctor's office and calmly explained the situation and I would suggest using a competitor in the future. They said there are plenty and agreed.
