Absolutely love this place ... I can get everything I need to do my custom 1:64 scale hot wheel builds

One of my favorite stores to visit, it is always a pleasure. The staff is super friendly and helpful! and you always feel welcome. It is so nice having a local store carry Gundam kits and other Japanese imports and their prices are unbeatable! When I feel like treating myself, I go on down to HobbyTown and buy some kits from them I sometimes even spend an hour in there trying to decide what to buy, the options are always plentiful! Keep up the great work HTUSA!

I build model kits and am involved with a ton of hobbies like miniatures, construction, and customizing. I love going to the south store because the guys are friendly, they always have my paints, and they are happy to help look and brainstorm when I'm at a standstill. I go to the north store when I'm up that way and usually find kits I have been hunting. Basically, these are the only hobby stores I go to now because they fulfill all my hobby needs perfectly.

I went to their Southport location a few weeks ago to get a part for our rock tumbler I found online. Very rude lady at the counter, the lady acted like she didn't want to be bothered with my question about purchasing a part for our rock tumbler. I was very rudely told that they don't sell parts and when I told her I saw on their website they did, I was once again rudely told that was online only. I asked if they could order it and I pick up and was told a short "yes". I had to prompt for her to look up the price and how long it would take, etc. Ended up purchasing the part we needed elsewhere for half the cost and much better customer service.

Bought one of the best rc cars there and the people there were nice.So a five stars, yes I qgree with some people that it is a toy shop with a hobby section but it has planes,boats,car,and trains. So yeah

This place was great. It has most anything you can image if it has to do with hobbies or even game cards... Looks small from the outside, but inside you Have rows and rows to shop from. Anywhere from paint to joke gifts. Very clean and very nice as well. Price is very good and you will not break the bank. Plus if you love craft planes, boats and ship's this is your store.

I am very surprised at the reviews on here, I've been buying the place up with Quadcopters and a new planes for the past month, everyone there seems great, Dustin/Justin? really stands out because he always seems to be working when I show up. I've had nothing but great service there and they've always been helpful with my needs and repairs. I recommend them personally

I went in today even after reading the negative reviews and glad I did! Judge for yourself. You know... some people just can't be pleased no matter what you do. I had a great experience in there both guys Tony and I didn't get the other guys name were great. Very kind and willing to lend an ear. I had never been here and don't know what it's been like in the past. I thought the RC section was well stocked with both parts and RTR cars as well as planes and boats! Tony said the other store on the north side of town was much bigger and just for fun I may make a trip there one day and check it out. I found the prices to be right inline with what I have seen online. Good Luck!

Alway have a great experience in this store! Love the huge selection of model cars and building supplies! Try to shop here for all my model building needs although there are a few products that I can only get online most of my the products I purchase are from here!

I would like to give 0 stars for a hobby shop....If you are looking for a TOY store this is it, as for a hobby shop keep looking, all they really have here is a TOY store with a decent R/C area ! If you are into other hobby's this place isn't for you , no real model railroad equipment or knowledgeable employees !
