Used them to cater a baby naming event. The event started at 9am but they never told us what time they wanted to arrive at the venue to set up. It turns out the two staff arrived at 7am, but since the venue was closed they couldn’t get in, and they were never given our phone numbers by the caterer to contact us! They also couldn’t reach their own boss the caterer until 8:15am. At that point the caterer called us, was pretty brash and rude, and then I rushed over to let the staff in to set up. This was a failure of organization on the caterer’s part. The food itself was ok for the most part, but there was way too much of it. There was a 75-person minimum for the event, and we ended up having about 50 people. The food could have fed at least 150 people in our opinion, so it meant a ton of food and money went unnecessarily to waste, unfortunately. The fish and egg salad etc. wasn’t so simple to salvage after being out of a fridge at least 5 hours.
Their bagels are okay, nothing special, but they just charged me like $7 for 8oz of "whitefish salad," which literally was just onions, celery and mayonnaise, not hint of whitefish. I've lived in the NYC area my whole life: it's a crime to call that whitefish salad.
Totally random but best cheese Danish in NY hand down! Also, very pleasant employees. They seem to enjoy their jobs which is really unusual in NY.
The coffee that I requested to be very hot came very cold and tasted awful. Really good coffee is a must for me. If you are going to get something wrong, at least it should not be the coffee. I don’t know why I decided to try them because my usual place always fills my orders just right and sends delicious hot coffee every time. I spent a bunch of money ordering a bunch of food I really didn’t need because you can’t get a delivery of just coffee but apparently we ran out of cold brew. I’ll check and see if the rest of what I ordered is of any better quality. I’m not ordering from here again.
Bagels are good but very small. Rest of the food is OK, nothing special. And what really sucks is the service. The staff is slow and impolite to say the least, they would easily forget about your order if you don’t stay on top.
They take away your appetite to eat your food, Disgusting nasty service, they have a new system to order your food on a tablet, after I got my sandwich I was asking the front desk for a coffee they charged me 3.00 a other customer told me its only 2.25 on the tablet. So I went back to the cashier and asked him for change and he rejected.
I got the nachos, bc the bagels ran out of most flavors. Thought they would be good judging by the pic on the menu. But they are basically broken bits of over fryed chips, pizza sauce and pizza cheese. Not good. very disappointing.
Great new clean look to this cafe shop. Only outdoor seating. Food looks good and fair prices. Salads, sandwiches, pizza, to go food and pastries. Enjoy.
Lovely warm bagels, pretty good donut too
Nice bagels though they keep getting smaller. This is a very fast food style place. Pizza is good. Coffee is decent. Prices are fair. Usually squishy seating so take it to go.
