The rooms were nice... until you took your shoes off and realized the carpets were very VERY damp. It was disgusting. We were there the night before my sister's wedding and we had 4 rooms rented for our family. Each room was damp and our feet were black from walking around on the carpets. I've never stayed somewhere like this in my life. The front desk ignored our complaints until only one guys was on for the night and he was run ragged, with one arm in a sling. He was super nice and I felt bad for complaining. The phone didn't work in one of the rooms and the room the bride was staying in had a light that only came on at like 25% capacity and we had to switch rooms with another family member so we could do makeup and hair efficiently in the morning. Absolutely ridiculous. I honestly believe their tubs overflow on a regular bases and they don't bother to dry the carpets out with dehumidifiers and fans. But who knows. Don't stay here. I'm not a complainer... but this was worth complaining about!
Rooms clean and nice, decent price, professional front desk staff. Unfortunately the person handling the breakfast needed help, couldn't keep up, so we never got eggs. Someone asked for salt but it was never brought out even though we could see all the shakers in the back. There were no grab bars in the small room that had the shower and toilet. My elderly mother had a hard time.
This is more accurately a 4.8 of 5. I called before arriving and some of the information given by owner? was incorrect. So, let me confirm the following: 1- pool heater may be broken call ahead, 2-yes! rooms are large with sitting area, hot foods are consistent with other Holiday Inn good!, 3 -yes, rooms and hallways are clean consistent with Holiday Inn standards, 4 - yes, parking is tight due to construction, 5 - location, however is great! Close to Portland and other suburbs. Overall hotel condition, 5 / 5. Front desk was super good and friendly. Some misinformation given which caused me to try to cancel my 3rd party booking. Thought rooms were smaller tha advised. Thanks, Holiday Inn. Great job!
Their whole parking lot is under construction. You have to park at a neighboring business too stay here. Rooms are horribly dated. Warped floors. Stained walls. Significant water damage. Poor lighting. You feel the wood when you sit on the furniture. Easily the worst IHG hotel I've stayed at.
General manager is extremely unfriendly & rude. Housekeeping staff were very kind. Couldn't park in parking lot, had to fix key card every single day she gave lame excuses that didn't apply, no late check out, elevator didn't work, & none of this was told before we paid $145 per night, which she says was "already discounted". Gross carpeting & if you ask her if you can talk to her supervisor she says "no". Asked if she can do whatever she wants here? Her answer was "yep". Feel just terrible for her staff.
It's amazing. Rooms are always clean. Staff is amazing. Breakfast is super. I really do enjoy staying here. The staff tries to make an effort to Remember names.Rooms: 5/5
