Loan is the owner and is one of the nicest, sweetest, HEART OF GOLD, down to earth, genuine to the core person I know. She doesn't just cut hair, she gets to know her customers and talks to you like family. She will remember your name and what kind of hair cut you had. I have been going to loans salon for 8 years now. I have moved all around Wichita, Valley Center and a few others in those 8 years and I will drive Holly's family hair just for loan to cut it. She is the only one I trust, right along with my husband and kids. I promise you would never regret coming to loans shop. You don't have to take my word for it. Ask the many other regulars she has had for more than 30 years that will 4 hours round trip just to come to loans salon because they are that loyal to her, because loan is worth it. You are not just a number or a head of hair, HAIR IS HER PASSION! She cares so much about your look more than you do. She takes pride in her work and it shows.

Been going here for years and I love everything about it! The owner Loan is wonderful. I highly recommend letting her wash your hair. It's so relaxing. Atmosphere is a traditional beauty parlor but I see plenty of men there too. Walk-ins are welcome but it's best to make an appointment. The only negative thing I can say is that she only takes cash but that's a minor inconvenience. If you like a soothing atmosphere and a competent, friendly stylist then this is the place for you.
