I enjoyed attending the Greek festival today with friends to celebrate my birthday! We enjoyed Greek food (bit expensive), great Greek music inside with live band, watching some kids perform traditional dances, perusing through Greek soaps, oils, jewelry and knicknacks. We also really enjoyed the Russian room displaying eggnests, ornaments, toys and boxes that were all crafted by hand and delicately carved and painted with such immaculate detail. We were truly impressed. Everyone was friendly. There were huge crowds and long lines - plan extra time for parking and waiting for food, restroom, etc. Beautiful church! I tremendously enjoyed photographing the ceilings, walls, stained glass and various items. Staff/volunteers were approachable and answered several questions for me in comparison of Greek Orthodox and Catholicism, symbolism, rituals, etc.

Had some awesome Greek food at the Yiasou Greek festival. Good rides for kids.
