Story

Homefires is a specialty fireplace company with a focus on the firebasket, otherwise known as The English Coal Grate. For centuries, coal grates were used to heat some of the finest homes throughout England. Since the early 90’s, we have been importing a line of antique replica coal grates from England, all of which are built to the same high standards as the original pieces. The grates can be used to burn solid fuel, such as coal or wood; but are more commonly sold with a gas burner and faux coals. They are the most unique and stylish alternative to the traditional gas log set.

We produce the gas burners for the firegrates in-house. Because of this, we have the technology and supply lines to produce a wide variety of custom fireplace products. With this, you can take confidence in knowing that when our team builds your unit, that your firegrate will come out better than the rest. I personally make sure each and every single customer who does business with us is more-than satisfied.

Locally, we do full installation. For long distance clients, we do not typically install. However, we may make exceptions for clients ordering high volume, or in instances where we are offered pay for travel time.
