Really disappointing customer service. I am a super loyal customer who drives out regularly from Trussville but won't be doing that again. The last 2 times I have been there I have been treated poorly, made to wait, etc. when I asked simple questions. I asked a question to a manager a couple of days ago and heard an employee behind them say "gosh, I hate people who ask questions like that." While I love the store these employees are very rude.
Very unprofessional and rude customer service. This poor family was sitting on a dirty couch that had what looked like hangers or metal holders on it and this employee came screaming at them to get off it, she never asked them or was decent she just started screaming and created a big scene all because they were sitting on it. The name on her badge was Betty
I’ve never had a customer service experience like the one I had today. It was myself another adult and 2 children and we were waiting on someone in the bathroom so we saw a couch that had a pile of shelf hangers and glitter/dirt all over it so we figured it was being used rather than on “display” there was other children and people sitting on the other actual displays so we didn’t think it would be a problem, after about 5 minutes of us sitting there a worker named BETTY comes flying over grabs the pile of hangers and slams them in a cart and screams “You can NOT be sitting here! This is a display that we are selling and can NOT have people sitting on it you have to GET UP!” She screamed so loud that the people around stopped and turned thinking something dire was happening. Even other customers were talking about how rude and unprofessional it was. We immediately got up and said “sorry we didn’t think it was on display due to the stocking hangers/equipment on it” but she didn’t even hear us because she was to busy still throwing all the hangers as loudly as she could into a cart and continuing to yell at us.
I love HomeGoods! They have such a vast variety of home decor. You can find everything from accent chairs to seasonal decorations!
I have never left empty handed. No, they are not good at catering to my wishes, they are good at placing stuff in front of my face that looks like I was looking for it. Who doesn't need a serving board from olive wood that will perfectly fit the parmigiana grater and a block of cheese? Who could resist a 1000 thread count sheet set, although we all know by now that thread count is not a quality marker anymore? Yesterday, I went for salad serving utensils and a rustic bowl and left with espresso, a serving tray, an adorable board made from olive wood, and a garbage bin for dryer lint.
I can always find something to buy when I go to Home Goods. It's my go-to store for gift giving!
I visited Home Goods @ Patton Chapel Plaza on Hwy 31 in Hoover. Great store! Love everything they have to offer! That being said, the quantity of merchandise is a Plenty! It's a bit difficult to navigate with a shopping cart because there is simply too much "stuff" off in the floor! As for the pricing, the furniture items are ridiculously priced.. & not for the good!! The Rugs are very reasonable. The clearance items are your Best Deal! As for any item, you really need to know the cost of items prior to purchasing here. Meaning it's not Always the Best Deal! I do think they could clean up the isles so the shopping experience would be better & they would also cut down on Broken merchandise! All in all I will visit again! I did get some great Items I needed for my new home
They didn't have what I wanted. They had some chairs I'm thinking about going back to get them. They were so soft.
Stopped by after lunch to browse. Had some super cute stuff for way cheaper than I've seen other places
Love this store so much and the associates are very helpful!
