I do not recommend this company. My order was not processed in the time that was promised, and they refused to refund the shipping which by the way was 6.95. I don't need $6, but the principal of a company not taking enough pride in their business and word most certainly deters me from returning or recommending them. Very poor business practice.
ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK I will never order from this company again. Here's why: after putting in my order online on a Saturday, I noticed the address was an old address, since you can not change it on your own, I immediately emailed the customer service and left a message. Since Monday was a holiday I called 9am their time to update the address, the customer care team member said she was unable to change the address that she could go ahead and cancel my order. She never mentioned that she was requesting to cancel it, just that she would cancel it and I didn't need to do anything further. Well I received an email the following day stating my order has shipped out. So I called again and the cc told me that my cancel request wasn't put in until 430pm there time and it has already left the warehouse. That there was nothing they could do, that my package would be delivered to an address where i no longer was at. After they shipped 1 of 2 items out I had to go to this address in hopes that they would give me my package. Got my package, noticed that only 1 item was in their. When I called again to see where the other item was they told me ups was holding it and I needed to correct the address online, I was never notified by ups or the company that they were holding anything or even given a tracking number to find out on my own. well like the first time that was not an option, so emailed them back notifying them this was not an option to do so. They said they would not issue the return until I has both items to return at the same time. I requested that they issued a return for the item I had and that I would loose out on $15 just so I didn't have to deal with them anymore. They emailed me back stating that the address has been corrected and sent to the original wrong address I asked them to change. WWHAT? At this point I'm done, I again request the return, received email stating that they are charging me $13 for shipping and out of a $62 order, I'm receiving $24 back. What a joke, never again. ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK
I ordered 7 2-in-1 Universal Smoke detectors showing "in stock" on the website. I immediately got the email that the order was placed. 6 business days later no email no shipment. I had to call, no response to email the day before. 3 of the smoke detectors were on backorder, and no one bothered to inform me. They planned to ship them all together 5 business days AFTER the no later than receive date. I had to go through 2 different managers to get approval to ship the 4 that were in stock and not charge me shipping for the second set of 3 their fault not mine!. Then to add insult to injury, the 4 detectors that I received were already a year old!
Really pleased with HomElectrical and thankful they stocked the Jumbo 3-Gang Eaton wall switch plates that I could find nowhere locally and at few places online. Their prices are very reasonable, as is the shipping fee, and it was a quick turnaround from the time I placed the order til it arrived on my front porch. I'll definitely buy from these fine folks again and would recommend them for any home renovation products you may be looking for.
Good selection and good prices. However, I ordered the wrong thing and tried to cancel 20 minutes after placing the order by calling the phone number on my order. The rep I spoke with assured me it would be cancelled. A day later I get an email saying my order just shipped and 4 minutes later I get another email saying 'Sorry the order was already being packaged and could not be canceled. Yuh...
I placed my order at 9am.. I called at 1 to cancel and they said they would do that and I would get an email conf. The confirmation never came, I called back late in the day and they said it could take longer, I waited a day and called the next day and was assured by MIke that my order WAS cancelled and I would get a refund, Now at 5 pm the next day i get an email saying its not cancelled. It took them two days to tell me its not cancelled, but yet when i called yesterday they could not tell me that.
Horrible website and awful customer care. Been waiting for order and they tell me even though it was in stock and added to my cart for purchase online they haven’t carried product in two years. Complete disaster caused delays for my project. No apology or offer to assist. The most bizarre is they try blame customer for their incompetence ie manager Sylvie. Take some responsibility for your website failure and make it right. Awful stay away from this place. Incompetent scammers
Good people..got my parts shipped as promised. Ups had a delay so that was a bummer.so they refunded the money I payed for 2nd delivery. Can't thank u enough.will be doing business again..great company
The timer switch I ordered showed as in stock, but after placing the order, I received a note that the product was discontinued, and they offered a replacement. The replacement showed that it normally shipped with 1-2 business days, but when I received the updated order confirmation, the expected ship date was a week and a half away.
Ordered mini splits on 6/3. Called customer support before I placed my order to confirm that what I was ordering was actually in-stock and ready to be shipped. Was told they had plenty in stock and I would receive an email in 2 days with shipping information. I emailed on 6/8 to check on shipping info and was told that the items I ordered were not available. I understand supply chains are tough right now, but I don’t appreciate being lied to when I called to confirm availability before placing my order.
