Homestead Steaks

The meat is good but I do not like the way they do business. A radio station was promoting the truck selling meat in the parking lot of the Bellingham Mall. The man told me the price of the box of meat, I had my credit card and cash in hand. I decided to buy meat and the man told me 160. 00 for my purchases. He could see I had cash and ask if he could have the cash of 40.00 and charge the difference on my card because he needed some cash. I agreed and then discovered I was charged 160.00 on my card rather than 120.00. I guess they got me for a 40.00 tip. I will not buy from them again. The reason I did not catch it at the time, I ask for my receipt but they did not put it in the box. Very disappointed

100% Best Deals on Meat! I load up on the Family Party Packs every time they come to my mall. They usually are here in Springfield once a year! I get Steak, Chicken, Seafood & Pork and everything is individually vacuum wrapped for my convenience. I can’t wait until they are back - I need some more of the breakfast ribeyes!

I was extremely surprised with how great the service was! The lines were long and that was a bummer but it was totally worth the wait! I bought the first time in 2016 in Las Vegas then I moved to Tulsa OK in 2019 and they were at the Woodland Hills mall. This is a high end mall so I figured they must be good if they can be at the Galleria in Las Vegas and Woodland Hills in Tulsa! There’s a lot of copycat competition that like to say they are the same but if you do your research there’s only one company In the US that’s been around as long as Homestead Steaks. All of the others keep changing their name every month or they don’t have a legal name. The only other one I saw that looks like it’s trying to copy Homestead Steaks and at least keep their name is Good Ranchers out of Pearland but I checked and that’s not a real office. They have also been in business less than two years but all of their info is directly copied from Homestead Steaks so I’m guessing they split off from Homestead Steaks. Overall I was very happy with my product both times and since I’ve been buying from them for like 4 years now I’m sticking with only this company. They had some negative BBB stuff but anyone who knows anything about business knows the BBB is a pay to play system. I’m sure they are just trying to get this Company to pay monthly fees so they will bully them until they do. I don’t look at ratings and I usually don’t even write reviews but HAPPY PEOPLE USULLY DONT REVIEW - so I decided to help these folks out by vocalizing the silent majority. When I was in line there were over 100 people in line so looking at the number of reviews they must be making 99% of their customers 100% happy!

Nothing but a big scam! Stay away! They advertise 20 rib eyes steaks for 30.00 at a mall and start off by stating it's this weekend only. Then for the next month they keep advertising on local radio stations that sale is almost over? The salesperson is extremely rude, tries to sell you more than what you want after telling him no until you have to tell him to be quiet and give me the rib eyes only that you advertise. Then he taxes you in a state that has no tax and wants a tip? Nothing but a big rip off and the steaks are not great.

HORRIBLE quality, overpriced, mostly inedible and no customer service. I emailed them regarding my dissatisfaction and requested a refund and they never got back to me.

Got these steaks last year in Champaign, IL and they are great. I waited over 20 minutes but very well worth the wait.
