Called in today.
Planning on stopping thru on a run, spoke with alex about parts for my dad’s gold wing. He was extra helpful, priced everything, and offered to email me a parts list with quotes!
Will be seeing him soon! Great job!

If you want to waste your day with Patrick Lasher who is a very high pressure sales man that needs decaf, in a bad way, all the paperwork is done with the exception of a credit application, has you ready to load your purchase only to COMPLETELY change the deal, this is your place and sales person to buy from. I was so confused with this fast talk, I had to ask someone else what did he just say. God forbid you are not a 800 credit score, they treat you like you are less then life. They promise you no fees like other places do, only to do the numbers and find the fees deep in the bottom line, again this is your place to buy. Yes, they sell a lot if bikes but again if you don't have a farm stamp or 100K in the bank, you may want to reconsider this place. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER BEEN THROUGH. We walked away from the deal. I honestly was waiting for the gold chained guy with slicked back hair and a cheap sears suit to appear. They are horrible!!!

Best dealership experience I’ve ever had...period. Dealt with the General Manager (Roger) and didn’t even realize who he was until a salesman (Chris) told me prior to leaving. Talk about leading by example...both Roger and Chris were straight forward, friendly, down to earth, respectful, and true to their word every step of the way. On top of all that, they beat the tires off their competitors pricing and financing. Quoted me almost 1000 dollars less than my local dealer for the same model and financed at half their rate too. Wow! I am now a customer for life. Thank you guys!!

I recently purchased a new 2018 Goldwing Tour DCT. Pat Lasher not only gave me a great price, he also gave me a fair trade allowance on my 2017 H-D Ultra Limited. When I arrived, everything was just as we discussed on the phone . No up selling or hidden surprises. Also no hard sell in the finance office. All in all, a very nice experience. I would recommend Pat and his crew to anyone who is looking to purchase a new vehicle!

Well Honda has finally come out with a great product (2018 Gold Wing) and dealerships like Honda of Russellville have stepped to an "ALL TIME LOW" capitalizing on this market.
If Honda of Russellville doesn't have a 2018 stock, in order to get one you have to put a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT down to secure your position in line. When I called, I spoke to a salesperson named "Mark" who said I would be number 6 in line to buy the model and color I wanted. About 30 minutes later I received a call from "Bill" and he told me I would be number 12 in line.
Upon further inquiry I asked Bile how long it would be before mine would be at their store. He told me only Honda knows the answer to that. So I asked, if my bike wasn't delivered until December 2018 I would loose my deposit. He said that was correct. And if my bike wasn't delivered until June 2019, I would lose my deposit. Bill said his store said he could sell every Gold Wing that Honda delivered which begs the question, why, if you can sell every Goldwing that comes in the door, you would take NON-REFUNDABLE deposits. Bill didn't have a real good answer to that question.
So let me tell those of you reading this why Bill thinks this sales model is a good on and why I think it is despicable.
Honda in Japan underestimated the DCT sales by about 30%. The delays for the DCT model will likely be lengthy. HONDA of RUSSELLVILLE can afford to undercut its competition a little because come July when customers who have given them a deposit will likely go to another dealer to buy the bike because they want it for summer. THEY WILL LOSE THEIR DEPOSIT! Honda of Russellville will make up the difference with thousands of dollars in deposits they will keep because customers won't wait an indefinite period of time. Customers will complain but this dealership will keep their money because they made no guarantee the bike would be delivered this summer or even this year.
It's pretty evident now given the demand Honda of Russellville is going to see a lot more comments from customers who don't appreciate this sales style.
So if Honda of Russellville says they are selling every bike that comes in, what's the real reason they are taking non-refundable deposits? They are betting people will get frustrated when other dealers have the bike and will then forfeit their deposit. A win-win for Russellville and a loss for their former customer. What customer would ever go back to them again? This "customer" won't go to them in the first place. Great business model Bill!
