Horizon Eye Care, a locally-owned and operated ophthalmology practice, is one of the region’s recognized leaders in vision care, providing the highest quality and most advanced medical and surgical eye care in Charlotte and surrounding communities.

Horizon offers a full range of eye care services including surgical and medical eye care with corneal, retinal, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, glaucoma and pediatric exams, as well as routine eye care. These are supported by preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services, including optical and contact lens departments, LASIK and aesthetic services.

Great experience at Horizon- Pineville. Dr Tomasko, Dr Ryder and their supporting team were very thorough during my visit. Explained in detail the results of my exam and answered all of my questions.
Dr Minkowski is a Very caring doctor. He spends the time u need to have all your questions answered. Comforts you on procedures with all the details you need. Very professional and his staff is as wonderful too. I highly recommend him!!.

Never had a problem with the physicians but the wait in the waiting room is always >1hour for Dr Weidman. I like him a lot but someone needs to better manage his schedule.
Office very busy but well organized. My first visit w Dr. Stroman today. He was very thorough and took the time to explain very clearly what my expectations and eventual outcome should look like. Clear understandable communication is always desirable and I experienced that this morning.
Dr. Weidman is the best! Very knowledgeable, professional and also friendly. Even though his schedule is crazy, he still takes his time with you. You never feel rushed and he Is genuinely interested in you and any questions you might have.
Dr. Ryder is the best! Lots of personality, very caring, and patiently explains everything. His assistants are great, as well as the front desk staff. I feel welcome and well taken care of at both the Pineville and the new Rock Hill office.

Aside from the long wait, I found the staff both friendly and professional. I was especially impressed by Dr Minal. It was apparent that she had taken time to review my file. She is a good listener and easy to talk with. She doesn’t make you feel rushed.
