This hotel was great for a nice getaway. Starting from the valet service to the front desk. The valet parking is $45 per day and it's STATED before you even booked the hotel or you can find street parking or garage parking. You are literally in the downtown area of Houston to valet will be a little more expensive at the hotel. The check in service was great and the ladies were nice and pointed us in the direction of brunch if we were hungry. I had a spa appointment and 12pm and they were on time and super friendly I would recommend the spa if visiting. Our rooms were great and shower is beyond perfect. The room was clean and the bed was nice. The pool and pool service was amazing and the service was quick and the drinks were strong. Everybody was super nice. Even a worker was explaining on the elevator about room service and being super friendly. We did spend time at the bar and the drinks were good. Overall the stay was great and would definitely be revisiting.
My stay was overall good. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. The weekend we went was SUPER busy. There was a wedding and a convention going on so they had their hands full. Valet was super expensive so I took my chances and parked in the affordable parking garage across the street. Staff was super nice! Pool was great! Not sure if the room was cleaned properly with them being busy, there were still previous guests personal items in the drawers and the fridge didn't open so they brought me up another rather quickly. There is also no shelf in the shower so I had to put my personal items on the ground but that's just nit picking. Tried calling the front desk a couple times but no one ever answered probably because they were busy. The only thing that bothered me was there were no personal ice machines so you have to call them to get a bag of ice. Both times I called one took 45 minutes to get there and the other time I had to go to the front desk and get it because after 45 minutes again it still was a no show. Just plan accordingly for that I guess! Other than those few minor things it was good and we were close to a lot of downtown spots!
When we rolled up to the valet parking, we were greeted by the most kindest man named Jesse. He took care of us from the moment we got out of the car. Told us where we could walk safely downtown and even took us to our room. It was a girls trip and the Laura made it even more fabulous. Everyone was kind and if anything was needed, needs were met fast. We ordered room service a little late but John totally took care of us and was offered free breakfast and cocktails. Excellent service and will definitely come back. If you are having a friends get away, this is the place.
First time to stay at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are very nice, much nicer than your standard Marriott for around the same price. Service at the front desk, bar, restaurant was top notch as well. Nice rooftop pool area. Gym was lacking from a dumbbell and free weights perspective. Nothing an adjustable cable machine wouldn't fix...I will definitely be staying here again!
What an amazing experience! Beautiful Hotel with impeccable service! The room was exactly like the pictures and the staff was just amazing. Arrived and from the moment I arrived everything went smooth. I went to have a drink at the bar and the bartender was great. When I arrived back at my room I had a slice of chocolate cake with a hand written note from the hotel. What a beautiful gesture. Highly recommend. I definitely would stay here again. Rooms: Breathless and trendy. Super clean Nearby activities: Lots of trendy restaurants near by. Walkability: Not recommend to walk as sun goes down alot of homeless.
I have frequented this property over the past several months and the customer service is always excellent, starting with the valet team. Sybastian, in particular, always makes my stay 100% better with his cheerful & positive attitude. He’s usually the one on shift when I arrive or leave and he always remembers my name & wishes me safe travels! He is the best valet in Houston! Everyone on the property is friendly and always offers to help with luggage. I have stayed in many of the different room types that are available. Beautiful property with a cozy pool and good views! Very quiet, especially compared to other hotels nearby. This location is easily the most quiet so it’s easy to get a good night’s sleep & the rooms are nice and cold!
I think it was a pleasant surprise to be here. The location is pretty central about 15 min walk/4 min drive from Marquis where we had a conference. We parked in a garage behind the hotel for $21 a night I think the rate is if you park between 10-23 hours, as we usually do not want to rely on valet parking. We stayed in a corner room level 20, with a pretty nice view of the city. The shower was S tier. Being a kind of luxury place means that the rooms we got did not have things like fridge and microwave, but they did have a beverage cooler that you can buy from. We had to store our luggage after checkout as we went running some errands but the staffs were friendly and considerate, and we found our luggages safe and sound when we came back. Overall a good experience and will come back. I saw some negative reviews, but I think some of those reviews speak about this hotel as if they were expecting services from a $600 a night hotel when the pricing of this place is pretty moderate.
This hotel is new and rooms comfortable and unique! The service was excellent! We came for a staycation for our anniversary. The drinks at the hotel bar were tasty and strong. Bartender gave us great conversation and space as needed. The bed was comfortable and the tub deep! Very cool shower too! We shall return!
Mediocre property and execution- front desk smiles are only virtue. "Executive" room was not ready and had not been thoroughly cleaned. Debris from prior guest on floor- shampoo dispenser ran out. Safe stopped working due to low battery. Absurd desktop ironing board. Almost no electrical outlets. No stand for my luggage. Restaurant was "Dennys" quality but not price. But the real kicker was, they were painting the room's door on the outside and took my "Do Not Disturb" sign down then a housekeeper knocked and entered at 3:30PM- while I was in the bathtub! The mattress was decent and the tub was nice, and once you complain the people are reasonably attentive and pleasant. The lobby sound track was excellent. But a business trip is distracting and I can't have hotel room drama.
This hotel appears to be really nice and up scale. It is not. Our bathroom was dirty, had to ask 3 times to get it cleaned right. There was hair and some change on the floor in the toilet part of the bathroom toilet has its own door. Finally I went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it myself. Valet is an absolute JOKE! They have it set up where you text them your valet ID. Then they respond saying they received the request and will let you know when your car is ready. The first morning I gave them a 30 minute notice. When I got down there they were all standing around and I asked about it, they checked their tablet and said "I see it, we'll go get it for you". Is that not the whole purpose of me texting you?! The second morning I gave them a 40 minute notice, same thing. Only this time the person behind the booth was watching videos on their phone and said "oh, guess I missed it". Well obviously! This service cost $50 a day. And then they expect you to tip. What a joke!! I was late both days because of their lack of service. I complained to the front desk but I had already paid the $100 owed so there was nothing they could do about it other than inform the manager of valet. Yeah, I'm sure that did a lot of good. I'll NEVER stay here again. Do yourself a favor and find a better hotel. Oh... and you have to ask the front desk for ice. There are no ice machines on any levels. That sucks!
