Perfect local spot to grab a pizza on the go. We placed a to-go order to enjoy during an afternoon in the park. Hot Lips Pizza had our pie piping hot and ready to eat. They have a dedicated take away parking spot so pick up was easy. Staff was fast and friendly. You can do a food allergy happy dance because they have gluten and dairy free options available. We found a picnic table and filled our tummies with delicious pizza. Vegetarian options: They have veggie pizzas and salads to choose from. Kid-friendliness: Pizza loving kids welcome. Dietary restrictions: Hot Lips accommodates many dietary restrictions.
I had issues picking up but these folks were fantastic. I called and spoke to the GM and he was very accommodating. They made it work for us without any problem. The food was really great. I highly recommend them!
Tasty pizza and friendly staff. Also...$150.0 including a tip, my pizza crust was floppy! It was not cooked all the way or it had been sitting for a bit. 150 bucks before Christmas is a lot of money and the kids didn't mind but I did!
Great place for a slice. Also the pesto bread sticks are delicious. You can sit inside now at the Hawthorne location! Good selection of beer, wine and cider too.Food: 5/5
As a visitor to Portland, I was advised to try this local favorite. Tried a few slices and the bread stick. The vegan slice $3.75 was my favorite! The vegetables were not soggy at all, it was full of flavour and definitely the most colorful pizza I've seen. The place also has many arcade games and book shelf. I read that they also do writing workshops. It's just a casual yet one of a kind place.
Definitely the best pizza I have had since I have lived in Portland Oregon! The location I went to was super chill, and the guys behind the counter are really friendly too! I will definitely go back!
Hot lips has been my favorite gluten free pizza in Portland for years. However, they recently changed their gluten free crust…Their new gf crust overpowers the toppings and just tastes like sadness and frozen pre-cooked dough. Their pizza is not cheap but it used to be worth it. A devastating loss in my life. I will stick to Dominoes and Mississippi gf pizza unless they change it back.
Stopped in yesterday for the first time. Interesting choices. Potato and bacon. Margarita and vegetarian were the chosen toppings. Everyone enjoyed the toppings. Had lots of choices of beer which of course goes with pizza. Soft drinks and other bottled choices also. Had pinball machines for the kids, shared book section and Great Wall decor to look at. Only reason for not giving a 5 star was that it was cold even after watching it come out of the warmer.
Went here during the Pizza Week event in Portland. The pizza was great, they had some pizzas premade and would warm up a slice that you ordered. I had the Vegan pizza without the vegan cheese. It was good, but I do wish that their pesto was a bit more powerful. The Pepperoni pizza was great, the pepperoni was very small as you can see in the pictures. Each bite had a lot of flavor. I could see myself ordering a few large pizzas for an event like a birthday or something.
Came in for a slice of pizza. First time here. Very different flavors. Potato and bacon, veggie, and mahgarita was what we ordered . Slices were not very hot.
