It’s nice place to get beef pepperoni pizza the fried cat fish was excellent as well. Perfect place to grab yummy affordable dinner for the family. Been there several times. Recommend calling before placing order to avoid waiting. It’s a take out place no seating. Parking: Parking is always available
I paid more money for this sandwich instead of going to Mae Velma’s on 76 & Capitol like I normal would do. Asked for toast bread, American cheese and yellow mustard but instead I was given brown mustard. I didn’t realize this until I was home west allies and I called the store to get some type of compensation because I just threw the sandwich away. I was inform I needed to drive back in order to exchange per management orders!! Not please with my service and I will not return. Also one the sandwich has big chucks of fat
Not happy with my visit today at all. First, I called my order in and the lady answered the phone like it was her cell phone that she answered and didn’t want to be bothered. Order was not ready when i got there. I had to run back in because I asked for thousand Island dressing instead I was given the sweet n sour that comes with the egg rolls, they did exchange it. The rueben rolls were horrible, drenched in grease even the bag was soaked. The perch was not fully cooked the breading was falling off as I picked the piece of fish up. I rubbed the inside of the batter and it was still wet. It says to check your order before you leave out make sure you take a bite before you do to make sure it’s cooked right. They should be ashamed of the service they provided tonight, next time i will visit Yum Yum fish and chicken for some fish instead of wasting my money with this establishment that doesn’t even want to provide A1 service.
Small, counter order place with a few stools to eat if you choose. I got my food to go, as did the 10 or so customers in the restaurant with me. Pastrami sandwich was excellent! Meat had a great smoky flavor and was sliced thick. Sandwich came with a tasty quartered dill pickle. Fries are ordered separately but were well seasoned. No chips. Looking forward to trying more items on their menu.
Ordered wings and fish. Very good. I have ordered both over the phone and in-person. The ladies who help me were has always been pleasant. The only negative is the wait when I ordered and waited in the lobby. I waited 25 minutes for my order. I will definitely patronize again, but will ordered ahead of arriving.Food: 4/5
Excellent thick, juicy, flavorful corned beef on rye with caraway. No mustard, no sauerkraut or boiled cabbage, nothing. Just plain corned beef on rye!! How I used to eat it as a child! Heavenly! Guilty pleasure!! No place to eat on a table, but this is Delicious at home! Tied in a taste test with McBobs on North Avenue.
I don't know who own this place but it's different every time I go. This will be my LAST TIME! Dry cold sandwich, mustard slopped all over the meat. It was absolutely terrible. I'll cook it myself or try a different place!Food: 1/5
The food was overpriced. $16 for a single sandwich? No drink no fries nothing. Absolute rip off. The food was mid. Although I didn't feel too good afterwards so I don't think it was properly cooked. Half of the menus were broken so I had to look up the menu online to order what I wanted. The staff were rather unprofessional. There's no seating at all. I can't fathom a reason anyone would want to consume food from this low tier establishment. The gas station down the way has more enjoyable sandwiches.
The sandwiches are absolutely amazing, good size and amount of meat. I believe it’s pricy especially if chips or a beverage aren’t included anymore. The pickle was crunchy and the meat was tender and juicy. The flavor is very settle but tasty! I ordered a corn-beef sandwich with Swiss and provolone with yellow mustard, toasted. The cheese really compliments the meat, the “toastiness” of the bread with the tangy from the mustard really pulled the sandwich together. I would have rated them higher but my order was incorrect the first time.
The corn beef sandwiches were tasty and loaded with tender corn beef and bread was crispy. The Philly cheesesteak was huge and also very good.Food: 5/5
