House of Hounds

Our girl Sadie has been a daycare, and boarding guest, at the House of Hounds in Nitro, West Virginia, for seven years. The facility is truly dog-friendly, and the staff and management genuinely care about all of the animals. We can leave our “rescue pup,” Ms. “Sadie,” when we travel, and Rest In Peace knowing that she is with other smaller dogs that are just as friendly as she.

Great facility, excellent and prompt staff. If you have a furry member of the family and they get along well with others they will love this place and you’ll have a hard time getting them to leave!

Staff is always friendly. Can tell they really care for your fur-children. As there is no other Doggy Daycare around, there is nothing comparable to this. When boarding, your animal gets to be where it wants to be and you know that it will be well taken care of. The prices are reasonable. Your animal can be groomed as well. Our dog Sandy loves coming here. She gets so excited when the door opens, and she is such a social dog that she is in heaven when we drop her off. Come back a few hours later and she is tuckered out for the rest of the day and into the next. Don't know what we would do without this place. She was also a shelter rescue who showed signs of being abused, but this place has really, really, REALLY helped her get to be the pupper she wants to be. The picture I have posted is our girl usually an hour after we get home.
