This is not a place you want to take your nicer clothes to. The lady refused my silk dress saying she can’t dry clean it only to later retract and say she can, only if I pay up front. The protocol with dry cleaners and alteration places in NYC is paying when you pick up your garments. This seemed super shady as it seemed like she wanted the money and was foreshadowing ruining my garment and/or not doing a good job, hence wanting to get paid up front as insurance. Maybe come here if you have basic cotton or synthetic stuff but this is not a place that seems to really know what they’re doing with garments made from silk or wool.
