Huffman & Huffman: Eye Physicians & Surgeons

Only get one star due to only way it will let me comment. The staff doesn't care if you have other places to be and are a little bit rude when you tell them that you have to go at that minute. My mother had another appointment that she had been waiting 3 months for and the staff member said they HAD to have the tests that morning would only take 5 minutes they kept my mom 45 minutes now she has to wait for another 3 months at least for her knee procedure .... also expected my diabetic mother to go 13 hours plus without food or medication. Was told her medical problems would be taken into consideration when scheduling eye surgery. They did not.

Unless, an ambulance has been called for an emergency or someone has died, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for waiting at an eye doctors office for 2-3 hours after your appointment was scheduled!!! A gentleman with a prosthetic leg and on crutches left because he said he could not sit here any longer. He was here before my nephew's appointment at 1:15. Absolutely no compassion from the receptionist.

Very nice staff and Dr is excellent. If your appt is in the morning pack a lunch, plan to be there about 5 hours. They over book and are very slow. Appt time does not seem important to them.

I shedule my appointments, usually a week or more wait, and when I show up they still make us wait hours before called! Every single time! That annoys me, i mention to other folks and get nods in agreement but seems folks dont fuss over that. Lack of competition I suppose. Another eye doctor or three could do very well in this town! Other than that folks are nice and all.

They have the best staff And the best Drs around!! Very nice and helpful. Very thorough!! They are the best!!!
