Hughes Boat and Motor Repair

They fixed my my old ranger bass boat that had been sitting for 3 years. It now flies up and down the lake. Thank you for the good work and fast repair. I would recommend to others.

Excellent work done on my boat and in a timely manner very pleased with Hughes boat repair and will let everyone I know what good work they do very happy with the honest work done there!

Very disappointed. My Wellcraft would conk out after tubing for an hour or so, then would start again but run extremely rough after it cooled off. Took it to Hughes, who agreed to run it until it conked out on him. He rebuilt the engine, charging about $1000. First day out on the lake, it did the same as before. Contacted Hughes, who said he wouldn't charge IF his repair caused the problem, but WOULD charge if something else was at fault. Seems to me I paid dearly for repairs the boat didn't need, and would be charged again for additional work, so will not return. Shop should stand behind it's work, and this one didn't.

Left a lot of bolts loose/missing on my outboard will not get repeat business from me

I feel like it's a great place to take a boat/engine for service/repair. Tim seems like a real good guy. Only business I could find that would work on my old 2 stroke. I live 2hrs away and took the chance driving down, will do so again in the future! My new boat mechanic! :)
