I recently adopted my kitten on 9/16 and had nothing but a great experience here. The staff and volunteers were so friendly. The adoption counselor was amazing and so helpful. I am so thankful for their services and for allowing me to adopt my perfect baby.
Excellent staff that shows love for there animals. Adopted Zelda 3 weeks ago and she is a absolute sweetheart. Never thought I could love another dog like Denver. My family loves her and she is already spoiled!!!!! With a big backyard to run around in.
The only place I've found that let's you adopt the same day!!! I was denied cat adoption so many times at other places because we have dogs who have lived with and loved a cat for years now. This place approved me without any issue, and I was able to take my kitten home within an hour! They were very busy They also have an indefinite return policy if the cat doesn't work out in the home which really helped our nerves considering we have another cat at home. Sure enough, they have been getting along great!!! But it's really nice to know our new kitten has a home here if things don't work out. Would definitely adopt from here again!
I Adopted A Dog Here In September And Come To Find Out They Were Giving Him Fake Shots . My Poor Puppy Had To Get Put Down Last Night Because He Was So Sick . He Had Distemper & There Was No Saving Him . The Animal Hospital Told Me Themselves That The Humane Society Was Giving My Baby Fake Shots. I Paid Over $200 For My Prefect Puppy And Had To Put Him Down Two Months Later . Then Had To Spend Thousands At The Hospital Trying To Save Him . I DO NOT Recommend This Horrible Place.
Great place to get your next fur baby from. They are a great team and are sure to help with what you are looking for! I highly recommend checking out the pups. We just adopted a dog and they made sure our pets were a good match to spend forever with. We couldn't be happier!
Not the first time we've adopted from here. They have been great and easy to work with all three times. Also got a cute pup?
Had a great time looking for are new baby to love .Found a great girl .the staff gets ten stars . They where Very helpful. If your looking for a new family member to love look to adopt one .
I would simply say go into the adoption process with eyes wide open and don't assume the animal is free of health or behavior issues regardless of age and medication already received and expect to be told that they don't know the animals history. I also wouldn't put allot of credit into the dogs stated breed. I adopted two wonderful dogs puppies over the last twenty years from the Humane Society, but the process has definitely changed.
The employees and volunteers show these poor and helpless animals that there are still people who will show them love and happiness. They workers take great care of the animals. If you are looking to adopt or find the right one for you/your family. The workers will be more that happy to help with any information.
We have adopted 3 total pets from IndyHumane. They love their pets that are there and are joyous when they are adopted. Their website is always updated, so rarely do you show up expecting to see a cat or dog and they aren't there. I always encourage people to adopt from the Humane Society.
