Hunan Taste Chinese Restaurant

My wife and I stopped by for dinner while visiting the area and long story short, we can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food was mediocre at best (very bland) and the service left a lot to be desired. We saw our waiter two times... once when he took our order and the second time when he picked up my debit card for the bill... he was completely MIA during the meal... never even brought us our drinks (I had to flag someone down for our drinks and the check)... I could understand if they were short staffed but there were plenty of people on staff that continuously walked by our table... but no one ever stopped to check in and make sure that we were good or if we needed anything. The decor was very nice and the waiters are all dressed very nicely... but none of that means anything when the food wasn’t that great and everyone kind of pretends your table isn’t there...

AMAZING food! Everything my family ordered was delicious. I haven't had Chinese food as good as this since I was a kid. It is NOT your typical Chinese fast food "take out," but instead it is a beautiful restaurant that has the appearance of a Chinese palace. We ordered take-out this evening, and cannot wait to have a sit down dinner here. By the way, they packaged their food beautifully. So happy we discovered you Hunan Taste! We are never going back to our local Chinese take-out place again.

Probably the best Chinese restaurant in morris county. Great food , large portions and very nice service. Reservations are better for weekends. They accommodate requests for meat substitution with tofu or similar for vegetarians too.

It’s an OK place; they have decent American style Chinese food that is generally better than similar places. Just beware that the prices are a little high especially for the appetizers. Like $9 for 6 dumplings. It’s not worth it. Better to just go for the lunch specials.

This is as authentic Human gastronomy as it comes. The menu is excellent with many unique dishes. The place itself is very authentic, nothing like it in all NJ. Be prepared to spend a few bucks but every dollar is well worth it. They also serve great cocktails so.it really compliments the experience. A must try if you want to treat yourself to high end Hunan gastronomy.
