Hy-Vee

The ONLY grocery store for me! Their cakes are delicious! And their scotcharoos are a hit at work! Always a helpful and happy employee to help with any need I have! This is the valentine's cake I took to the memory unit I worked at, and they all cherished it!

FANTASTIC experience. Soooo much better than the horrendous way I was treated at tge Hy Vee on Cass Street, where Matt Strite refused an exchange of bad wine even though I returned it within 30 min, receipt in hand. I was threatened with JAIL at the Cass Street Hy Vee. Also, I see my review there has disappeared. Hmmm Love this Hy Vee, tho. It's awesome!

We used Hy-Vee on 156th & Maple for catering, floral, & bakery for our wedding. We could not have been more thrilled with the customer service in the catering department. Tsan is one of the best in the business & many of our other vendors even told us so upon booking! Our food arrived in a timely manner & the whole team was very communicative every step of the way & with any changes that came up. The catering department was by far the best communicator, but overall still absolutely a 5 star wedding package from hy-vee! We received SO many compliments on how gorgeously our flowers looked & Barb + her team in floral are absolute ARTISTS! The cakes were so yummy & our grooms cake was especially adorable! We are so thankful for the wedding team at 156th & maple helping us pull off our perfect day in so many massive & wonderful ways.

This review is specifically for one of the staff members that works here. I believe her name is Tina. She is ALWAYS friendly and smiling. She is never rushed and takes her time when my 7 year old asks her questions about random things in the store. I really appreciate her patience and friendliness with him. He tells me all of the time about "that nice lady at the store". I wanted to leave a review to let people know what a GOOD JOB she does and what it means for us when we shop.

I’m very upset with the aisle online option. I used it for the first time and only ordered about 12 items. I put my order in at 2:00pm and it said it would be ready between 4:30 and 5:00. I got to the pickup around 4:40 and gave them my name and they said it wasn’t ready yet so I had to go back around again in line. I waited about 30 min and they said my order was “still being shopped” it’s currently 5:33 and I’m still waiting. I’ve been here an hour. I could have been in and out of the store a long time ago but figured it’d be so much quicker. Also while waiting in line I had my window down and was listening to the workers and they sound like they are just messing around and they were cussing a lot and weren’t being very efficient. I’m very disappointed for my very first time using aisles online. Do Better Hyvee

Had everything I needed and wasn't crowded. Prices were ok, not great, not outrageous. The store was clean, as usual, and festive, with holiday lights and decorations tastefully displayed. Employees were great, again, as usual, but they were understaffed. My one chronic complaint with this location is that they seem reluctant to engage in the fuel promotions, as routinely the discounts don't come off when checking out in the self-scan aisles. I appreciate the willingness of Customer Service to quickly and painlessly honor the discounts, but it leaves me wondering how many people don't notice or don't go through the extra step to get the discount advertised.

I usually like the Aisles Online pickup better than other places because of the text messages that you receive from your shopper. It’s a great way to make sure that you get the substitutions that you want. However, tonight I am still waiting 35 minutes for my groceries. There are currently eight other cars in line and only one person loading cars.

We got lunch meat, and cheese from the deli, and everyone there was very friendly and helpful!! When checking out, the lady helping with self checkout was busy with a lot of customers, but still managed to not seem overwhelmed or stressed!!

Usually a good experience with the prepared food, but today got home with everything to realize the $4 a cup "freshly squeezed orange juice" was just $3 a liter tropicana. I don't mind the switch up, understanding maybe the fresh stuff isnt always available, but at least give me a heads up so I can just run down the aisle and grab it for a 1/4 of the price next time. That along with the burnt toast I got and I don't know that I'll be back

We used Hy-Vee on a 156th and Maple for our catering, bakery, and floral needs for our wedding. We could not have asked for a more patient and caring group of people to work with. There were minor miscommunications day of the wedding but they were all very quick to help fix everything to make our day perfect. At the end of the day, our guests were absolutely blown away with everything. I want to give a special shout out to the bakery team though. They helped create not only the most fun flavors and designs for the cupcakes but they created the most AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS cupcakes we have ever had. They were the talk of the party amongst our guests. All in all, we had great food, beautiful flowers, and a wonderful experience working with this group of people.
