Staff very friendly. Check in super fast. Adequate meal scrambled eggs was too dry. Shuttle operators were very helpful and friendly. Bathroom was too tiny though..luckily i am not a 300 or more pounds girl. The one sink for bathroom and kitchette hits different but otherwise would go again.Rooms: 4/5
I enjoyed my stay here. Conveniently located near everything. Staff are friendly. $35/night for parking is a bit steep. Only thing I didn't like was the small bathroom. Room is big but then the bathroom is small to the point where you can barely turn around in it.
Hard to find the entrance. Bathrooms are small. Rooms are large. Breakfast is very good. Parking is pricey at $35 per night. Disappointed they did not take cash for any purchases or parking fees Noteworthy details: Be aware that street beggars hang out at the gate to get to the street and sidewalk. You will be approached anytime you take to the streets in downtown area.
This is our 2nd visit to ATL in the last year. We have a Hyatt membership and have many Hyatts to choose from, but I couldn't be happier that we choose to return to this specific Hyatt location. The room was spotless, the shower is shining, I love the full bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioners, and there were ACTUAL glasses and ceramic coffee cups! No paper junk! However: Miss Gloria night shift front end is the most delightful, kind, caring, and wonderful person I could ever imagine. She is a true gem in this facility! I have never met a more wonderful customer service representative. I couldn't had met a more kind human. You're blessed to have her on your team
A truly restful and peaceful place from room to breakfast! Excellent service throughout the property! Enjoyable!Rooms: 5/5
Nice clean place. I enjoyed my stay this past several days. The only complaint is the bathroom is too small can't move around in there. I was expecting it to be like the picture below not a cramped little box. The breakfast is very nice. Thank you for the nice hospitality that was rendered.Rooms: 4/5
Overall good experience! The breakfast had very limited options. Blueberry muffins, corn flakes, oats, bagels, coffee and chicken sandwiches. Rooms very spacious and clean. The services were not as we expect in Hyatt. The staff was fine. The view from my window was good, and the hotel have beautiful places around. Best point is this hotel is in downtown, walking distance to Aquarium and Coca Cola. So many restaurants around, and Waffle House opens 24hrs which is on the back side of Hotel. Not a luxury experience but not bad too. They don’t give enough toiletries. We were three people and room had a king size bed and sleeper sofa. There were so many warning for smoking but still you can smell weed around the hotel.
Initially, I didn't know if it would be a good location but it was perfect for what we needed to do. We literally stayed across the street from my cousin who lived in the Twelve and 5 minutes away from the Hyatt Regency where Old School Saturdays was hosted. The hot breakfast was good and the rooms are comfortable. I really appreciate the fridge for my breast milk and microwave for our food. The only con is the bathroom is small but the shower head makes up for it. I'll definitely be revisiting.
Stayed here for a few nights. Glows: - Excellent location. Super close to all the major attractions downtown - Aquarium, World of Coke, Civil Rights Museum, Hall of Fame, Centennial Park, etc. - Shuttle makes getting around easy, most of the time. They say it's a 3 mile radius anywhere but when I asked about going near the zoo like in that general direction within 3 miles, the shuttle driver said he won't go there and wouldn't tell me anywhere near there he'd go so I didn't push on it. Not sure why the direction of the zoo is off limits if it's truly a 3 mile radius.... - Daily breakfast - you can see from photos all the different types of breakfasts they have. Definitely hit the spot on early/quick mornings. It's not amazing but it's complimentary and does the job. - Really spacious rooms. I bet this place is converted from an older building because the rooms are huge with their 2 double beds and sleeper sofas but the bathrooms are tiny with tubs and toilet inside a small room and the sinks outside. It was plenty of space for the two of us. I think they didn't have an option for a King sized bed when I booked but I don't remember. Grows: - There is a slight off smell in the rooms. You get used to it but it's noticeable when you first come into the rooms. - The TVs and channels are outdated - no HBO or premium channels.
Zero customer service and support. Could not stay the night with kids because it was unsafe and loud both inside and outside the hotel. People partying and drinking in the parking lot right outside of our room with a lot of homeless traffic in and around the hotel parking lot. The paid parking lot is even behind a locked gate, if that tells you anything about the area. Took our kids and left without staying the night. The hotel manager will not cooperate with Hyatt corporate in issuing a refund. Wish we never booked here and hope to help others stay far away.
