The DJ is so rude!!! There’s kid who are not even 21. The DJ don’t even care about what you say to him. He just says to you how long how you been here? Like really? Who says that? No wonder they don’t do well. They just need a better DJ and a better security door man...

I went to Icon Bar for the first time today along with many friends that I have invited to come out with me. The bartender (Dakota) was extremely pleasant, professional and helpful. I received many, many comments from my friends on how great the the atmosphere and most importantly Dakota's service was. Dakota was fun, attentive, and everyone had a great time thanks to his great service. Would definitely recommend! !! I would recommend this bar to anyone and would come again in an instant!!!! Their drinks are really good and are made at your convenience. They offered me, and my friends a lot of alcohol based suggestions that helped us select the best choices. The whole experience with Icon bar and Dakota was phenomenal! Dakota added to the quality of my night with my friends! This service was exactly what we needed for our night out.

So my first time coming here I was nervous but the bartender that night made me feel comfortable his name is skip I will only come here on his nights. Since I'm off on Tuesdays it works out perfect for me.

Dakota, the bartender is absolut amazing. He is funny, and witty. I love coming here when ever I come in from Missouri. David the owner is also extremely nice.

The only upscale gay bar in Astoria, a go to for the local gay community! Drag shows almost every day or the week, happy hour- 2 for 1 deals! Great bar, 5 stars.
