Check the date on goods before you purchase. I have had too many bad times experience for it to be a coincidence. Meat is also poor. Customer service is also lacking. Bold manager can also use a hood smile on his face.
I just moved here from California, looking for a Mexican meat market that has the marinaded carne asada, and came across this market after looking hi and low. They had it. I was so excited to find it, it’s a very clean place with fresh meats and baked goods, also cooked food that looked very good. This is my new spot. I will be back. This is my first review ever
This place has some great items and food. Unfortunately hiring of bilingual workers doesn't seem to be a priority. Which is a shame as it and the cultural rudeness turns off many non Hispanics. When instead it could be a great cultural icebreaker. The hot food line has some delicious meals but lack of pricing makes me wonder if I am getting charged properly. Especially considering I ordered the same thing on different vocations from the same and from different Ideal Markets but was charged several different prices.
Very good place for Grocery shopping. Not only they have very nice selections of Mexican food but also American comfort food as well. Bakery section also offers nice variety of sweets with great, great price. Other than that, I go there for fresh meat and produce which cover everything you need from prepping salad to homemade stew. The only downside is cramped space. So, just make sure you know what you need because it's going to be a little room for you to stand and make decisions.
Went there for some saints game supplies. Really like their marinade but they don’t use it on their wings. Asked the guy if he had any he could throw in the bag with the wings, super cool guy he did! Staff all super friendly!!!
The produce section is a paradise for anyone with OCD tendencies. The prepared food is so satisfying and they have a great inventory and yummy pastries. Great place to get meat.
Ideal Market is a Hispanic food chain that started in Texas. They have shelf stable, cold, and ready to eat foods. Their ready to eat food is the BEST, quality is good and they aren't skimpy on the quantity for the low price.
Great variety of hispanic foods. They also sell hot food like baleadas, pupusas, carne asada, seafood soup, pork rinds, and a bunch more stuff. The food tends to be a bit on the non-healthy side, but it's not bad. Bad thing about this location is that it tends to get really crowded/loud and the merchandise is not that cheap. Sometimes I can find some stuff cheaper at Walmart. But they have a good variety.
cashiers should be bilingual...my kids are Spanish but don't speak Spanish and my son says that he rather walk 1/2 a mile to the next store than to go here because he couldn't get help.
This is one of my favorite store. They have all you need and I love how they display the vegetables and fruit. They have "carne azada" grilled skirts which is delicious as well as their grilled chicken
