Idle Hour Lanes

Great and friendly place to Bowl. Took my 7 year old daughter there and she had a blast. They have auto bumpers for your kids that go up for them and down when it's your time to bowl. They also have Glow in the dark mini golf with is a ton of fun.

The wings are AMAZING! The atmosphere is great. The only thing I like about southside bowl better is the pool tables and the darts. Other than that idle hour is great!

I have lived in Lackawanna County my entire life and gone to Idle hours dozens of times. My first date was here. My family was here recently for my step father's surprise 50th birthday party...30+ people. Everything was fantastic except for one employee who literally harassed us the entire time. SCREAMING at us not to throw away the plastic French fry baskets and causing a 10 year old boy to tears over getting a ball stuck in the gutter. He paced and lurked back and forth like a hungry lion, waiting for someone to devour for the rest of the time we were there. Please, he should be fired! This is not how you interact with the public. Again, I love Idle Hour Lanes, it's a wonderful place for families and I have very fond memories throughout my life here. But this guy needs to be removed or thoroughly counseled.

Please post when you have events on Facebook, or website. Came in to bowl and there was a charity event. I think that's great! Just communicate.

I had a fun time, liked it more when Ryan Howard worked there though.
