Had to ring a bell twice to enter the store. The sales associate who opened the door didn’t even say good morning. I was completely ignored by the three salespeople on the floor while I was there. Beautiful suits and shirts, terrible costumer service. I had to wait for another costumer to leave so I could exit the store, as they keep the door locked. Really sad to find establishments with such a poor costumer experience in this day and age.
Bias, ignorant, very impressionable. I went to this store looking for a suit and ready to spend at the min 5k. The associate that was there had the door locked and did not seem to want to help us at all. Made snarky comments about my build and would not give any recommendations for substitutes on what I was looking for. Needless to say the associate was judging a book by its cover and didn't realize the sale that could have been made. Cocky and judgmental. Seemed to be a bit racist
The guy who works there was impolite from the start. Struck me as uneducated and unsophisticated, trying hard to compensate by being needlessly condescending. The suits in the store were overpriced and seemed to have been hanging there for a long time. I walked out after 5 minutes.
Randy is an incredible talent. Ask for him. He is super professional and is always impeccably dressed. He has a keen eye for fashion and is thoroughly knowledgeable. Although the men's clothier exudes quality, I only shop at Ike Behar because of Randy. He makes the experience easy, fun, and quick!
Walked in out of curiosity, walked out with two beautiful dress shirts for an amazing price. The store is charming and the clothing is fantastic I'm pretty sure I saw a signed thank you poster from John Wick himself on the wall. The next time I need a suit accessory, I will return!
I was the only customer right after it opened for the day. Randy was helpful and friendly, and, though I am no connoisseur of fine clothing, I bought a suit that could not be more comfortable and it looks fantastic. So did the ties and shirts. Great place to upgrade your wardrobe.
I am beyond disgusted by Randy's hostile demeanor and derogatory remarks. Given the brand's high reputation, I expected excellent service. I was beyond disappointed with my experience. The brand itself is nice, but I would never recommend this store. It is worth noting that Randy was poorly dressed with heavily wrinkled clothes and no class. Not cool.
Several of my male friends have raved about Randy who runs the IKE BEHAR Georgetown store and his exceptional ability to help them make great selections including Ernie Jarvis, husband of one of DCs top socialites and a top commercial real estate expert and developer. Randy is also one of the top stylist in the city and customers are always in awe of his attire which gives them total confidence in the advice he gives them.
I love going into Ike Behar about once a quarter to check out what they have. The Georgetown store is helmed by Randy, who, in addition to being a really fun guy, 1 has an amazing eye for assembling great outfits, and 2 is very particular when he takes measurements for tailoring, which I greatly appreciate.
Had a great time with Randy and the owner. Picked up a suit and accessories with a friend for a wedding. High-end suits, moderate prices but had a good sale going. Excellent service. Very friendly.
