One of the very few places in Waikiki beach where we got vegetarian food. Ambiance was wonderful and food was amazingly tasty. Pesto pasta was too good. Tiramisu was soft and yummy. Garlic bread was different and cheese on top had authentic Italian feel.We loved the way we were greeted and treated. It has that 4star feel to the restaurant. The waitress was polite and suggested us with good options. Highly recommend this place.
Gorgeous place. The decor and ambience was incredible. Located on second floor in plaza. A little bit tricky to find entrance through hotel lobby on the right. Food was really good. Beautiful presentation. Staff nice and helpful. Pizza was a little cold when they brought it out, and waitress kept forgetting to bring a glass of wine, no big deal. Highly recommend.
The food here was phenomenal. We really enjoyed the Calabrese pizza, the vegetariana pizza, the pesto with chicken pasta, and the affogato. Definitely some of the best Italian food we’ve had in a long time, although it was a bit pricey. We ordered the spiked passion fruit soda as well and it was pretty good. The ambiance here is also quite nice, and the owner is super friendly. I would highly recommend trying this place if you’re in the area!
Well understand you will pay 18% “gratuity” upfront and they will ask your for another tip when you get your check …. Food was tasty but service was slow. Recommend if in a pinch eat here, but you can find better elsewhere.
Wonderful place and delicious food! We had two pizzas for our family of four and the cheese was incredible! The atmosphere had a great "upscale/casual" vibe and the folks here are serious about their food.
Focused authentic Italian menu with great service. We had a lasagna, a pulled chicken & pasta, and a stupendously tasty lox, onion, arugula, and olive oil appetizer. What I appreciated was the focused menu… it’s always better to do a reasonable number of dishes well instead of being all things to all people. Great service too; you can tell they sincerely want their guests to have a solid experience.
Nice vibe and a wonderful staff. Penne pesto was great, I also thought that the tiramisu was nicely done, the proportion of mascarpone vs the sponge cake was pretty neat
We love this place! It is our go to restaurant on island! Great place for large parties or an intimate dinner. Fresh food! Love the staff!
The food was okay and the staff was friendly. We came to get the vegetarian lasagne, which was on the menu on the web but not available at the restaurant. The menu says „Tax and 18% gratuity included“ in the already hefty prices. The bill then listed the prices from the menu tax and generous gratuity included and put taxes and 20% gratuity on top of that. I believed this to be a mistake and brought it up with the waitress and the waiter. Both insisted it was no mistake. Looks like this restaurant is trying to rip off unsuspecting tourists. I didn’t want to make a scene and I‘m not sure wether it would have been right to call the police in this situation. We got a 10% discount for paying in cash at least. Still sort of ruined our evening.
It was ok. We had high hopes because they have awesome reviews. Went in and were sat right away. The ambiance is really neat. Had the bruschetta appetizer which was good. My husband got red wine and I got A $5.00 fountain Coke which was never refilled once, albeit I could have asked them but generally a server will offer to refill the empty glass but he never did, I was going to ask the server who initially took our order but I did not see him again, so not certain who our server was. all the other folks/ servers who checked on us were nice. My husband ordered the $38 lamb special, which was a small arugula salad with olives and tomatoes and some Parmesan Reggiano, not pictured, and then a lamb shank. Nothing else. Just the shank. He said it was good but was absolutely not full off of 1/2 a cup of arugula and a lamb shank, the bruschetta appetizer we had ordered did help and since he can eat anything he ate my pasta as well. I ordered the pesto chicken. Clearly it was pre made. The Pasta was boxed pasta and pre made because my meal was out in 5 min after I ordered it. It has shredded chicken on it, again which was pre made, maybe Rotisserie chicken? I’m not sure, I could barely taste the pesto and it was drenched in Olive Oil. Probably 1/4 of a cup on the bottom of the pasta. It left a bad taste in my mouth, my husband finished it. My bland pre-made boxed pasta we spotted a box on a shelf near by was $30. I make the same thing at home for the entire family for $15 and you can taste the pesto. Meal was $107. We left $20 tip, so $127 for a meh meal and and I left hungry so that is not ideal. We won’t be back.
