La Vela Wine Bar

Not an actual “wine bar”, it’s a bar inside a hotel lobby. I was super disappointed. Wine lovers beware. Places that have “wine bar” in their title usually are high class exclusive spots, this was not. I was expecting fancy wine glasses and an expensive look and feel.

Delicious wine and food, so far. Caprese salad with the Allegrini Valpolicella…amazing. Next up is the calamari with a bianco. Can’t wait!

Amazing luxury gem in Waikiki. Romantic and amazing food. Your date will love this place or if you just want to hang out with friends. Local crowd as well as European best of both worlds.

Excellent food, very solid wine list, and friendly and detail-oriented service. Also appreciated the quiet atmosphere only a few blocks away from Waikiki beach. Highly recommended!

Excellent! A hidden gem in Waikiki! The food and staff are amazing. An extensive wine list, the steak and lamb chops are delicious! A MUST visit for everyone!!

By candle light: Excellent steak and other meat dishes. I esp like the perfect salad greens underneath. And if you like they’ll add a shaving of hard white cheese....delicious. Soothing low light, pool side cozy or camaraderie at the bar where you can eat at the counter while you chat, and meet the chef.
