Imperial Cathay

The place comes highly recommended by some people that I know. I ordered the orange chicken with sauteed vegetables and egg drop soup. The order was packaged without the required care. In a plastic bag, I received the sauteed vegetables, egg drop soup, and the sweet and sour sauce emerged in a full, 1 centimeter tall puddle of vegetable juice! When I reported the concern to the restaurant, the person who took my call nonchalantly apologized and said that they would let the cook know. No refund or any other compensation was offered. I would have politely declined the compensation when it was offered, because that is my style (not so much for other people at times). However, a company that prides itself on good food and the satisfaction of its dinners (in-house and takeout) would have offered something to keep the customer happy (even if it was a free cup of soup with the next order). Offering NOTHING was unacceptable and speaks loudly to customers who would potentially return. I spent over 15 dollars on lunch alone (not including the delivery fee). I won't be ordering from this place again, because their actions speak louder than their food.

This is one of my favorite places for Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very upscale. There is a giant fish tank in the middle of the restaurant which is pleasant to look at. Wait staff has typically been courteous. There is a bar area but I don’t believe I have ever seen anyone sitting there. I know they serve alcohol but I can’t say I know much about that. I enjoy a lot of their food. A lot of it is very high-quality and the sheer number of meal options is enough to give you extreme indecision. Be sure to get one of their soups. The creamy chicken soup is wonderful but they typically only served it for lunch, I believe. This restaurant tends to fill up but there is ample seating and I have only rarely had to wait for a table to open. That said, this place always has a full parking lot during peak times, which is a good sign that they are doing well. As I said, the food is tasty but I have found at times that it seems warm-ish. I prefer hot food but this has only been a problem one or two times. Of the many, many times I have been here I have been satisfied!

Service was great! Food was filling and the decor is always up to standards. I have been going here for years. Will always keep it as a "Go To" Chinese restaurant

LOVE the creamy soup they serve during lunch! Food servings are plentiful and good. We come here as often as we can!
