Indiana American Water

I have had American Water for 11 years. This past year has been beyond horrible. Had a zero balance on my account, they came out and turned my water off! When I called they told me since it was Friday, it would be Monday when they came back out to turn it on. They could give me no reason as to why my water was turned off! Fast forward six months later, my water was yet again turned off. When I called customer service to inquire why my service was turned off, it was because I didn't pay the full amount due. I paid everything but $12! There have been times that I have overpaid, that one time that I underpay, they turned my service off and charge me another $40 fee! I am so over this company

Longest wait times on the phone I have ever experienced! It's extremely difficult to get ahold of this company!

Mark up guys came. Said the water main under the street was going to be replaced=I need info for getting into my house and parking. Markup had no info. Called city utilities. Must call water company. Called water company. If not in my house they don't know anything. So who's going to tear up the street in front of my front door and how long will the replacement take?

Called their number for info. Got a call screaner in FLORIDA that spoke so fast you could not understand her. She knew nothing, and was absolutely NO help. After a lengthy period on hold, she came back and told me that someone should get back to me within 24 hours. This is service?
