Indiana American Water

If I could rate less, I totally would! Worst service ever! I was pretty much on hold all day each time frame being over 40 mins. I know their. All's could be saturated, but all day? Seriously??? I had an emergency and couldn't reach anyone. Their automated system is pathetic and customer service even worse. Even after all the trouble of getting my service shut off because I couldn't get a hold of anyone, I had to pay a $40 reconnection fee and go a whole day and a half with no service. If they're services would be on point none of that would of happened and would of saved me a serious headache and trouble. The representative seem to not care about any of the troubles I had and was quite rude. Honestly I wish I didn't have this service ever, too bad is all they have in my area.

Horrible, horrible service. Have a water emergency and we were told somebody would be out within the hour. Three and a half hours later we were still waiting. The next day I needed to do repairs that required the water to be shut off at the main. They tried to say I wasn't allowed to shut it off myself and it would be a sixty dollar charge. Everywhere else I've ever lived the homeowner has access to the water main in case of an emergency, but oh no, not Indiana American Water! They have to squeeze you for every dime you have on top of their already overpriced service. Went and bought the tools I needed to open the main anyway. This was after trying to explain to the rude woman on the phone that it's possible to have a leak in the house between the house shutoff and the street shutoff. Worst utility service ever,
