My new favorite place for towels! The care and craftsmanship that goes into the weaving is beautiful. The store design is lovely too. At first it was a big mental transition for me to move from thick fluffy towels to thinner tighter weaved towels. However, now I really prefer the Turkish towels style. The space savings is a bonus. Great place for gifts too!

The girl at the counter poured us some Turkish tea and made us feel welcome. The intoxicating smell inside Indigo Traders is only outdone by the gorgeous spectrum of colorful cloth, glass, and ceramic. One of the true gems of Multnomah Village, but you might miss it if you’re not looking for it it’s on the edge of downtown.

Samir and the associates were extremely helpful to me when I needed direction with lots of assistance procuring the right gifts for clients. They helped combine quality items that not only fit the budget but were aesthetically pleasing, along with gift wrapping and packaging. They even have beautiful cards featuring Samir's photography. At my request, Nora even wrote out the card messages since my penmanship is lacking. Johanna even shipped the items for a reasonable fee--something I really didn't have time for. I'll be back again for gifts especially when it's crunch time. Truly concierge-level service!

This company is a Portland gem! I am so happy to have found this place. Once you try handwoven Turkish towels, you will never ever go back to regular terry cloth towels. Their Turkish delight is to die for and both Samir and Karla are wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful. This kind of local business is one that will keep me coming back for years to come!

I love this place! So warm and inviting and the quality of the towels and blankets are beyond description. I have upgraded my home to all Indigo Traders' towels and I literally love using them! I don't know how one can have such a fond affection for a store, but I really do anticipate my visits to Indigo Traders. Samir is so kind and gracious! Looking forward to returning again soon!!!

Today I received the most gorgeous gift and was elated when I saw that it was from Indigo Traders! If you haven't tried their products I strongly recommend you do. Their textiles are luxurious and such a treat to use every day. The craftsmanship is extraordinary, the color's are vibrant and timeless.

We've purchased several towels through the Indigo Traders website over the last few years. The linen towels are absorbent and dry quickly, which makes them perfect for life on a boat. Not to mention, they are absolutely beautiful pieces of workmanship. The quality of the towels has always been excellent, and it is obvious that Indigo Traders cares a great deal about customer satisfaction. Our orders have always arrived in a timely manner with a hand-written note on the invoice.

Went to the store in about a month ago, and really doubted that the hand woven cotton towels were as absorbent as they said, I loved the store itself so well organized and inviting, but after washing the towels and using, my husband and I loved them. I recently ordered 2 on line the Soma Linen Towels for us and we love them so much - the feel, the look the absorbency. Great customer service, each towel wrapped so nicely with a thank you note and a note about one of the weaver's. So happy to shop here!

We wanted to try Turkish towels & in my search I found Indigo Traders. They have amazing selection in their shop of not only towels, & blankets but much much more. We’ve been back a couple times since our first visit & each time the employees have been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. One of my favorite stores now.

This is a lovely store filled with handmade specialty goods. Turkish woven towels, handmade linens for a bed, and beautifully painted ceramics for the kitchen. They have a deal for kitchen or bathroom hand towels 2 for $25 with an array of colors to match any decor. From the outside it looks like two different stores but it is just organized into woven goods and ceramics.
