One would think that a beauty supply shop would have a warming and friendly customer service... not at this location! It’s almost like they are unhappy you walked in the door. With minimal knowledge of their product as well as policy, if you’ve bought a defective hair... you’re simply out of luck.

2/23/18 Visited Indique this month to purchase a bundle of hair for an install. Spoke in detail with Kyerra regarding the style and look I wanted to acheive (Photo example provided) with the Hair. Kyerra recommended bounce blowout and stated I would need only 1 bundle of hair. Also indicating I was purchasing the last bundle of hair in stock/at length. Also informing me of the return policy (e.g., shedding, tangling, etc., Indique would provide /replace with free bundle) After returning the next day with my stylist, as an another bundle was needed, we were assisted by the Manager. After sharing my experience with Kyerra the Manager questioned Kyerras recommendation of hair, indicating another hair type should have been recommended for achieving the look I was seeking. Post install, following all hair washing/maintenance recommendation/instruction, the hair began to shed heavily and tangle in the back. After contacting the store informing the Manager of the issue and revisiting the store, for the purpose of exchanging/receiving free bundle (in accordance with store policy as stated by the Manager and Kyerra), I was told by the Manager that she would not replace the hair as she did not 'feel' it met the requirements to do so! In addition to indicating various post purchase return policy caveats not include in writing nor voiced during initial buy! First- to evaluate shedding she combed through the visibly tangled hair over a dark floor surface (i.e. difficult to see dark brown hair/shedding on floor). Once I pointed this out we moved to the counter where she continued combing through the hair, where shedding continued. The manager stated it was not enough shedding, though I pointed out majority of the comb through had already taken place over the dark floor surface. She went on to inform me I was using the wrong comb and she felt if I used a different comb/brush the shedding would not occur. Though i informed her shedding occurs with different types of hair instrument I have used including the ones she described, she still ignored the issue. When asked about the visible tangling of the hair, she glossed over it as well indicating, she 'felt', it too would not occur with a different combing instrument. In conclusion my experience with Indique is a Very good example of Poor customer service, today. It takes but a moment to provide good customer service. If you want customers to Invest in.your company, invest in Customers via a good experience/customer service; particularly when customers express dissatisfaction with your product and you fail to honor/standardize criteria for your own return/exchange policy. It stands to reason if the Manager can 'feel', when to execute/honor/subjectively implement, store policy...as a customer I can 'feel' when I've had poor customer service/buying experience! Please note only 1 star was given as there is no option for 'zero' stars!

When I walked in the staff was nice but the Manager was rude and no customer service at all. This business will not grow if there customer service is not great.

This was the worst hair I have ever purchased. The Indique company are cons. This hair tangled every 20 mins and shed constantly. I removed the hair in two weeks, because I could no longer deal with it. I purchased Indique hair about 5yrs ago and I loved it. The hair was perfect then..no complaints. However, they are selling poor quality hair now. I wasted money on hair I couldn't use. Ladies, you should try Kendra's boutique, because that hair doesn't shed or tangle. And it's inexpensive. Buyer Beware!!!
