I would highly suggest not shopping through Indochino, especially if you have a scheduled event. I visited this location in March, three months before my graduation. I had an enjoyable experience in store, and was promised a full suit well in advance, in case any alterations needed to be made. Everything I received fit fine, except for the pants, which were comically small, barely making it past my knees. It took a week to hear back from Indochino, and when I finally did they said it was simply an "associate error" and they could send me a correct pant, but it would not arrive until after my graduation. Be aware that they have a strict no refund policy, even if a glaring error on their part means that you will not have a suit for your event. I would still have the time to go to a local tailor, get a suit fitted, and have one before it is needed, but you can not get anything refunded. If you need a suit for any occasion with a set date, do not take the risk of shopping at Indochino
I love visiting the Indochino in Boston Seaport. They always make you feel like you have the store all to yourself. Their staff is really helpful and well trained. I bought two suits: mine and my step-son’s wedding suit. They both looked great. Mine needed a little adjusting when it arrived m, but the staff made sure it was ready by the wedding date. If you are not in a hurry, you will get a quality garment for a good price. I’m looking forward to visiting them again. Thank you, Indochino.
This was my first experience with custom clothing and as a female identifying person, I was a bit nervous about how I’d be treated walking into a traditionally and advertised men’s clothing store. I was immediately greeted and treated with kindness making the whole experience so comfortable and easy. I worked with Ryan, whom was so incredibly helpful and kind. He provided a lot of support and guidance through the design process. He did my measurements as well and was highly communicative and consent based, always letting me know what was next and how the measurement plays into my final suit. I’d recommend indochino to anyone new to this experience, especially queer/trans/non-binary folks looking for some gender affirming support. Thanks for a fantastic experience Ryan!
Indochino is a must for every guy out there. Whether you’re in suits daily for work or an occasional wedding suit type, they have something for everyone. Their quality is exceptional and their customer service is even better. Joseph helped me out and couldn’t have made the process easier. Highly recommended.
I went to Indochino in July looking for a few shirts and thought to myself "oh while I'm there I might as well get another suit for work". The shirts were great, MTM shirts for the same price as off the rack shirts, delivered in a few weeks. The issue was the suit. Measuring process was easy, but the first suit that arrived wasn't even close. Not only did they have dimensions for someone about a foot shorter than me, they had the wrong options for the suit and even the wrong fabric. Talking about fabric, the fabric they use is low quality scratchy wool that does not un-wrinkle well. The associate told me they needed to remake the suit, so another 3-4 weeks later another suit shows up that is still very wrong. So we do the process again, they remake the suit, I wait another couple weeks and the suit is still wrong. So we do the process again, they remake the suit, I wait another couple weeks and the suit is still wrong. If you've been following along Indochino has sent me 4 suits that don't fit and the associate told me they need to remake the suit again. Now it's late November and being completely fed up with the process asked for a refund which they did not. I contested the charge with my credit card company due to Indochino being unable to provide the service I was paying for and was refunded through my credit card company. In summary- if you need a suit go anywhere else though their cheaper items that aren't as hard to tailor as a suit, such as t-shirts, are great.
Inconsistency throughout the many experiences I have had at this Indochino location. When I ordered suits over the past few years, the suits fit well and the staff were knowledgeable. My more recent experiences have been much worse as the staff is not helpful and seem to acknowledge that quality has deteriorated recently. While getting alterations on my wedding suit, the in-store tailor went on vacation and the backfill ruined the hem of my pants and made the fit of the jacket worse through the alterations, all after a prolonged delay for completing. The staff acknowledged the poor quality and said it was an ongoing issue - not great service for a shop that has customers relying on wedding timelines. I would not avoid Indochino for suits, but would much rather go to the other locations in MA before going back to this Seaport location.
Joe at Indochino Seaport made customizing my suit for my wedding so easy and he’s a pro. If I could go through this process again I would have gone to see them months ago. Each suit is fully customizable down to the smallest detail. Sometimes fittings can feel rushed or unprofessional but not at this place. Highly recommend going with Indochino when it comes to getting a new suit that looks great.
Three visits and $500+ later and I still don’t have a suit that fits. This place is god awful and their customer service is even worse. Went through them for a wedding party and the majority of us had problems. I had to go for two alterations after my original fitting. When I got my suit for the third time, a week before the wedding, it still didn’t fit right. Do not use this place unless you don’t care about going back multiple times for them to continue to attempt to get it right. Zero stars!
Really great service! measurements came with great recommendations and their staff helped me customize my suit exactly the way I wanted. I might add well priced for custom suits.
Buying a suit for most people like myself isn’t easy, too big for the stuff on the mannequins and the big and tall options look too bulky and loose making you look even bigger. Not to mention quality.. if you venture away from the bargain stores you are likely to spend the equivalent of a mortgage payment to get anything that looks and feels good. Well with indochino I have found the perfect combination; custom fitted suits with multiple customization options and best of all without breaking the bank. I ordered my first suit; a forest green three piece suit july of 2021 and have been back twice since to get a gray and a maroon suits… variety is the spice of life! Just ordered my fourth suit, a black suit and can’t wait to see how it fits and looks. Everyone I have worked with have all been fantastic as well and that’s at their Newbury and Seaport stores in Boston. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their wardrobe or for a wedding party.
