Inner Bay Café

Attended a baby shower here recently. I can’t speak for the typical dining experience. As for the brunch buffet served, it was typical options: eggs, ham, bacon, pancakes, etc. Everything was warm and decent. Plenty of beverages were readily available. The staff was attentive and kind. The serving area, as well as the space in general, was clean and well organized. What was really nice was the restaurant’s atmosphere. The shower was held upstairs in the lounge/event space. Great mix of brick, worn woodwork (some unattractive, like with the chipped round table in the front corner, but otherwise charming) and open space. There are sweeping views out over the cove across the street from upstairs. The downstairs dining room appeared kinda cramped, but had a lovely amount of airiness. Great tall arched windows all around. The parking is really tight; the lot is shared with the next door bank (which was closed on our Sunday visit, but still the lot was pretty full). And one of the restrooms upstairs has a toilet seat that is peeling of its paint and can be hella icky to use. That said, we left pretty sure that we’ll give dinner a try at this place someday.

Atmosphere is quaint. Service is beyond EXCELLENT. FOOD IS WELL SEASOBES AND PREPARED.
