I had 2 amazing facials for half the price basically. Great way to help students out in earning their hours. Give them a call to pamper yourself!
I have enjoyed facials for 15 years at this place in Houston. I would give it a 5 star plus almost every time I go which is once a month. The only thing I would suggest is softer terrycloth towels and warm the cold creams that they use to take off makeup. I had an awesome experience yesterday and one reason was it was quiet with soft music and I feel asleep.
I had a great experience. I had never been to the institute before but I will be returning.
I want to get Esthetician License and driving 40 minutes went to this place to check out. The lady who work at reception today, she was so rude and has really bad attitude to me. After I asked a couple questions about the class, she was displayed a serious case of impatience. She asked me to fill out the paper and need my address, I said “ I don’t want to giving my address yet”, she rolling her eyes and said: “ then we can’t talk to you anymore, bye” . Excuse me ? Seriously? Telling me bye? I don’t understand. So disappointed Highly not recommend this school.
Best massages regardless of price. These students work hard for a perfect score as they accumulate hours. Then you see the price and it’s 1/4th what you’d pay at a massage chain.
I had been coming here for several months in the past and didn’t have any negative experiences until today. They booked 4 eleven o’clock appointments at once, and I was the 2nd person with an 11 o’clock appointment to show up, instead of getting served on a first come first serve basis, I was initially served by a student and as I walked back to the facial room they called me back to the front and handed my “student cosmetologist” to the customer who came in after me. The other customers that came in after me with 11 o’clock appointments got served before I did as well. I was then asked to wait for the next student who was still in class. After waiting 30 minutes I got up and requested for a refund. I told the receptionist that they should respect their customer’s time and that this is definitely no way to treat customers; even if this is a discounted price for a facial the fact is you are still accepting my money and my time for your students to practice on. This is NO WAY to run a business and SURELY a good way to earn a bad review. Follow up: So after 1 year I returned and much has changed!!! They have hired a receptionist and the student who serviced my facial was excellent!!! I had the relaxation facial and she accomplished the objective for sure!! Her massage technique was excellent and applied perfect amount of pressure and enough amount of massage time....they seem to be doing an excellent job with the students . I am sooo happy I returned!!
I visited the Institute of Cosmetology last week, November 6, 2020. I have visited this place regularly and as always I am very satisfied with the work done by the student. I when in for a facial with an appointment at 11:00 am. As was seeing on time with a very nice and courteous esthetician. After doing a skin analysis a treatment was recommended. I felt great after the facial. The work done was excellent. Everything was explained to me, the atmosphere of the room was peaceful and relaxing. I never felt rushed to get out of there. My student esthetician’s name is Aysha. Thank you for a great job.
