Islamic Cultural Center School

I have been with the school since it first opened its doors, the saddest thing is the lack of improvement we saw over the years. Teachers constantly being fired or leaving mid year leaving the students without proper instruction. placing secretaries or aid to cover classrooms. this year, the 4th grade were without a classroom teacher for months, and one of the parents stepped in to cover. They used to have a great early learner teacher that was hands on, and took the kids to the park ans school trips. since that teacher left, early learners got to go outdoors ONCE in the Entire year on sports day. No other outdoor time for these little ones that need to move around. Not that they have learned much in the class room. my daughter learned more from leap from "the letter factory " in a week, then she did the entire year at school. Taking issues to administration is useless. we gave up on any concern of ours getting addressed and resolved. It ha not been 8 years, and we made the decision that there's no way we can keep our children there as they are going into middle school. The good thing about the school the Islamic studies ( Br yahiya ) and Arabic ( br Yousry) may Allah reward you.

Asalam o aleikum, It's a good school with great teachers , unfortunately the children get too many days off from school that you do have to pay for. I feel that the administration comes off as very aggressive in terms of tuition charging. It's very unprofessional and it really hurts the school and their reputation when options aren't available for parents of low income. This is a school and my suggestion is to give parents more payment options. It's good when administration leaves things on a positive note with the parents that way school gets more recognition and more students come in to learn. May Allah reward all the staff that work here and made it possible for our kids to strive ! I want to send a special thanks to sister Layla the prekinderharden teacher you are awesome !!!
