The place is really dirty and the food is often covered in oil and butter. It's edible, but not the best by far.

This was just remodeled right before the 2016 Fall semester started. Twice the size, it's pretty damn beautiful. Albeit an unspectacular place, it has enough food to keep you interested. Early in the semester the food choices deserve a 5-star rating, but the more the year goes by it kind of seems like they're phoning it in. It's not UCLA dining hall, nor is it Harvard. This place is tiny compared. But it's CSUCI, not really a surprise. But the food here is usually really good. For a tiny school, this is a very good thing if you're stuck on campus.
