Isleta Amphitheater

Concerts coming to New Mexico is great! The traffic is absolutely horrendous and this will keep us away! Granted you are just wanting to get people out of the parking lot. Have to work with government agencies to move traffic efficiently to I-25.

What a Hellhole. This is a concert venue. 15,000 + people, with limited road access in or out. They serve ridiculous amounts of alcohol, so people fighting, puking, passing our, and urinating on themselves is common. Depending on the concert, the second-hand marijuana smoke is sickening. They have security, law enforcement and medical staff. Security is undertrained and nearly worthless. Law enforcement is severely understaffed, and medical is overwhelmed. It's a major catastrophe looking for the right opportunity.

Horrible place to get in & out of. It literally took 2 hours at least, to drive in due to the lack of lanes & poor traffic planning. On the way out was beyond chaotic. There's nobody directing traffic so people & cars were going whichever direction they wanted in order to get to the exit lanes. There's nowhere for designated pickup lanes. People we're walking the long 2 mile road back to the bottom of the hill because they had no reception to find a ride, they lost their friends etc. We saw one lonely girl halfway down the dark road (no streetlights whatsoever) just sitting on the roadside with her head in her hands. If that were my daughter I'd be raising holy hell at the lack of concern for concert attendees safety. Then we saw a pickup truck loaded with kids (teens and early 20's) in the bed of the truck...about 10 of them, getting ANY ride back down the hill at whatever cost to their safety. The truck even passed by the cops at the bottom.of the hill and a female cop flashed her flashlight to do a double-tongue then did nothing as the truck continued to drive past them. This place is a disaster waiting to happen as far as sex-trafficking opportunities, kidnappings, missing people, unsafe rides, zero lighting, minimal policing....like I said DISASTER!!!

Great outdoor theatre. The ultimate summer convert venue. They have decent food and plenty of beer 8f you want to pay the price. It is a steep walk downhill bit theu usually have gold carts to help you up and down if you are disabled. There is usually a fee to park. The bathrooms are porta potty style. Usually security wont let you bring anything.much bigger than a wallet size purse and perhaps a blanket for lawn sitting.

Went to Sabroso and it was a disaster.. waited in one line for 45 minutes just to find out they were sold out of... Tacos! At a taco festival, seriously?! And they didn't have the nerve to let people know. Then I waited literally nearly two hours from the other vendor. You think they would of maybe planned better and had more vendors considering tacos were one of the headlines.. Missed a chunck of the show due to this. Not well executed. The bands were great, thank God.
