Very nice range and facilities. However I believe the staff are volunteers and are not all on the same level as far as knowledge. I brought a ak74 to zero and was told I was not allowed to shoot the "steel core ammo" which I didn't fully understand why not considering the type of range. The ammo was not steel core and I regularly shoot it at indoor ranges. I tried to explain that it was a bi-metal jacket and that was why it set off a magnet and had a round that I crushed and bent with plilars to prove it was not. I left the range disappointed.

This is great park if you like shooting sports but is a members only park. Nearby bullrun is open to the public.

Great shooting range! I come here to play trap and skeet. The facility is clean and easy to navigate through. There are different facilities and fields to shoot various guns. Nice staff and close location to Fairfax and DC.
