Izakaya is a traditional Japanese small plate restaurant in the heart of Manhattan. We serve dishes that are meant to be shared over long conversations with good friends. From the popular Addictive Cabbage dish to our house special Chicken Nanban (addictive fried chicken with 7 herb homemade sauce), we make everything from scratch using the highest quality ingredients, just like you would find in the best local shops in Japan. Our beef dishes, like our Hamburg steak and Gyu-motsu (beef guts) stew, are made using Washu-Gyu (Japanese premium beef). Finish your meal with our panna cotta milk pudding served over sweet red bean or one of the wonderful sakes and beers from our drink menu.
