Great family run business that has just about everything. Will always point you in the right direction. And definitely will take care of you. They are never afraid to tell you what's going on. Been going there since 1998, even if it's just to chat.

this is one of the best bait&tackle stores on the east coast ive been dealing with j&b for more then 20 years an always got the right answers to my Questions an repairs done to my tackle in a professional way i cant say enough about the store an help i live in daytona now an i

Excellent selection of lures, plugs and other saltwater tackle. Good frozen and live bait as well but there isn't a lot of it. Always seem to have some rods & reels on sale but normal stock isn't great and is expensive. Fair amount of apparel as well as waders and boots. Very knowledgeable of southeastern CT fishing areas and tactics. Also has a bunch of info on local charters and tournaments.

So helpful to my son who is learning to fish.  They took so much time to explain everything and help him set up his rod.  I was so impressed with their customer service!
