J C Blinds

John has been outstanding in his attention to detail and service. We ordered blinds for the whole house in 2021. They are blackout blinds in a tract with remote control and solar charged. The install was professional and smooth. We had an issue with a few of the south facing window tracts. John personally came out promptly and fixed the problems. Our questions were answered fully and despite the supply chain problems the wait for the blinds was not excessive. We would highly recommend JC Blinds to anyone in the market for blinds.

John has done blinds in all three of the houses we've lived in from 1999 to 2022. I wouldn't use another company other than JC Blinds. Jc blinds did a fantastic job of installing two solar powered motor blinds and three regular ones in our house. The two solar powered blinds were for the high windows and I would not have been able to do it myself. John was very informative and did a great job of making sure all works well. We had an idea of what we needed for shades and blinds but we knew we could benefit from both style and design guidance so we could be 100% sure. John from JC Blinds was fabulous. He helped us select the perfect blinds for our 4 panel slider. We wanted something that would provide privacy and block the heat from our due East orientation without completely obscuring our amazing view. He absolutely nailed it see photo. We also needed shades to fit behind the existing blinds in the bedrooms, den & office and, again, he guided us in the perfect direction. The thermal shades block the light and keep those rooms cooler. In fact. even in the 100 degree heat we have been able to keep the AC no lower than 76 degrees during the day. That is the highest we have ever set our AC during 100 degree heat. And, as an added bonus, John and Mario provided expert and efficient installation and explained the operation and maintenance thoroughly and clearly. As an added bonus, the whole job came in about $2000 lower than we expected so our experience was incredible in every way.

After calling and not getting a response I thought I’d go to their highly advertised showroom. I rang their doorbell and a lady with caked-on make-up, stuck her head out the door blocked the door with her body and said they’re open by appointment only. I must have missed that in their advertisements and on the phone message when I called. Very bad first impression. Gave us a card and told us to reach out. What a joke!

We could not have picked a better firm to do the work. JC installed Norman shutters on most of the windows, provided Hunter Douglas remote operated shades for the master bath and the large sliders in the dining room and living room. They also installed am motorized sun shade for the patio. Everything about the experience was first-rate and professional. It began with a productive interview in the showroom. John came out the following Monday to measure and go through the materials for each of the windows. By the next morning we had an estimate--a VERY reasonable estimate. Because the shutters are manufactured in China and considering the current situation, John could not give us a date certain on the shutters, but the other materials were installed within three weeks of our initial meeting. And boy were we surprised when just two months after the date of our order, the shutters had arrived. Installation went like butter off a hot knife, and one frame that needed to be adjusted was back and installed in under 24 hours. We can't for the life of us see why anyone opting for blinds, shutters, or shades in the ABQ area would go anywhere else! Three cheers for John, Jeanette, and James!

JC Blinds is a great company to work with. I bought blinds from them for the entire house back when it was built in 1998. We are still using those blinds almost 24 years later. They sell and install high quality products and they offer excellent service as well. I highly recommend JC Blinds!
