Very nice small beach with an excellent playground for kids of all ages. Also has cook-out area plus good sized parking lot.  We love to visit this beach during spring and fall when good weather but very few people.

This place is really nice looking, the water and the jetty make for a beautiful scene you can enjoy year round. But tbh from experience you should only go swimming if you want to end up all cut up by all the oyster shells that are in the water it's pretty gruesome, here's a pic of me after cutting my foot on an oyster in the water

The upside: Small and quaint with well maintained beach area. Has a great view of LIS. Parking is adequate although the potholes will kill your suspension if you're not careful. There is a nice playground for children. The downside: Guilford charges their own tax paying residents to use this beach.

It's quiet now. Peaceful in the winter. Beach and shoreline has lots of sharp shells, where something on your feet even when swimming.
