Today I ordered thru DoorDash as I always have from this restaurant. Never have I complained that they NEVER provide utensils. Today, I put in special instructions to please add utensils. Also, coworker wanted sweet and sour chicken, but she does not like the red sauce, and she asked for Extra Duck Sauce. So I put to not send the red sauce and send EXTRA duck sauce. Thought they would send about 5-10. Nope - about 30. AND then I get an email from DoorDash that they charged me an additional $3.90 because of my special instructions. Are you kidding me! Last time ordering from here, and I have been ordering for about a year now. They are very good - but I think this is grossly petty. And I'm mad because I consistently give them a 5-STAR rating. Not no more.

We lived in the area from 2004-2012 ... This was the best Chinese food restaurant in Hampton Rds. Just picked up some today Sep 2022 and this place still ROCKS! Hands down best Singapore mei fun, general TSO chicken. Egg rolls are perfect, not greasy, not stale. Pork fried rice is amazing. Any other Chinese restaurant across the country we've been to gets compared to this one and nobody comes close. Thank you so much for the work you do, the care you put into your food really shines through.

Customer service is piss poor. Food is average at best. They are extremely rude until it’s time to pay. Never coming back

The shrimp fried rice was good, but there's not too many ways you can go wrong with shrimp fried rice lol. In addition to that, they gave me plenty of shrimp. It may be the 1st time that I didn't complain about not having enough.

Hands down the best Chinese food around in my opinion

The food is very good. There are several Jade Gardens in the area. This location was not easy to find on the net. Even the menu that comes up is from a different location. That is my only criticism right now.

We've been eating there every since they opened in our neighborhood over ten years ago. Their food is always fresh and tasty. I've never gotten sick from them and they've never messed up our order. The restaurant is clean and you can watch them cook the food. I could see how someone might mistake them as rude, but really they are generally polite. They are just very Chinese, so I think their "foreign-ness" might be misinterpreted as rudeness by some. The two women who take your order speak decent English, and will even hold light conversations with you if they know you. As far as Chinese take out goes- it's pretty good. I'd recommend it.

NEVER EAT HERE. Ordered food via door dash. The food was delivered in a paper bag - SEALED AND UN TOUCHED. Called the restaurant claiming they forgot an entire meal in my bag, the lady starts yelling at me on the phone and telling me it was in there and i could not even come and get it. “ sorry your not getting your money back “ was also said. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I work in the service industry for 7 years and this is ridiculous. stay away.
