Based on personal preference, I could take or leave it. Was a nice and clean area. Well organized. They don’t have a variety of sizes didn’t have my bra size and for the same brands you can now find in Walmart, they were significantly higher.
Most employees at this location don't seem to care much about customer service, but there is one associate at this store, Hope, usually around the Home and Bedding section, that is just awesome! On more than two occasions she has provided superior service. She is so kind and I just really appreciate her. I wish every associate was more like her. She gets 5 stars!
Their online pickup order system is kinda a mess.. got an email stating my order was ready, but when I drove up to the store, my curbside link was not working. When I called the store, on the staff's end, it said my order wouldn't get to the store for another few days. When I left the store, got another email a few minutes later stating "thank you for picking up you order". Called the store back letting the staff know about the 2nd email, they said their end still said the same about the order not being due to arrive to the store for another few days. Walked in & got my order on the day their system said it'd arrive, just disappointed in their customer notification system. Wasted a decent amount of my time and the staffs' time sorting through that confusion.
I paid $1,200 for a defective loveseat. I phoned customer service three times over the past two weeks. They haven’t reached out to me once. They told me they would arrange repairs. They didn’t. I grew up thinking Penneys was a good company. Not any more.
This is a sad overpriced store with horrible employees. There were sale items that rang up for triple the cost at the register. The cashier asked where I found them & I showed him. He said the sale sign was wrong. I asked where the items with the sale price could be found & he turned his back & walked away. The fitting room I used had graffiti in it -- seriously?! I ended up buying more clothes on Amazon today. I will never shop at a JCPenney again; they don't deserve a 2nd look.
Go to store for jackets and jewelry. Staff at the jewelry section is super nice and are always polite and friendly. Always have great sales on jewelry and clothes.
Absolutely horrible customer service. I made an order online only to get the wrong order. I can no longer order this item because it's sold out online. I also went to.go pick up part 2 of package but it said it was picked up. The associate was very rude and stated I was stealing. I did not appreciate the way he treated me and I had no reason to lie.
Rude customer service while checking out at the register. She didn't even ask how I would be paying and uttered "ugh" when I was doing a split payment. It wasn't even busy.
Jcpenny's has always been my go to for my kids back to school shopping. I love that they have so many good deals and always have coupons you can use on top of the already amazing sale prices. Good selection, friendly staff and they have a sephora!! What more can I ask for?
So the prices here I wish were better. I remember seeing way better deals here years ago. Service isn't so great unfortunately I see this being the next Mervyn's or Sears eventually. This location always seems so messy or cluttered.
