Love Target!! I can wander around this store for a long time. I see Target as an upgraded Walmart. I love the clothes selections and the work out clothes section too. The JoyLab sweatpants are great! I also found some deals in the clearance section this time. I found some great gluten free options too in the food section. I'm looking forward to have a GF brownie in a cup later tonight. please note... do not try to kick the big red ball outside of Target... those are concrete and I've seen many people injure a foot trying to kick it. If you read this please click "like"... it helps my feelings. Thanks
Did an online order yesterday for curbside pick up. Went to try on my pants today that I picked up yesterday and realized they gave them to me with the security sensor on them. Now I have to make a trip back to the store. Very frustrating!
Store was clean & kept nicely. Woman who checked me out was very sweet & had a great interaction with my kids. Great shopping trip to Target this evening!
Security guard started following me around the store as soon as I walked in, I was just trying to buy my nephew a gift for his birthday. This man was staying right by the toy area where I was. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable, I’m assuming it’s because I'm 22 years old, Latina, and have tattoos. I get he’s just trying to do his job but why me? I’ve never stolen in my life. I can only imagine he’d never do that to a Caucasian person, because they don’t steal right? Smh won’t come back until y’all see people and not color and instantly assume black,Hispanic, or Asian are less and only commit crimes.
This target used to be a fairly nice place to shop. Lately, it's become one of the least desirable Target stores in the city due to unfriendly employees, dirty, unorganized and sometimes unstocked shelves and trashy people too, but I can't blame the store for this per se. Hopefully management here steps it up and hires new employees and inspires existing ones to work harder and have a better attitude so they can keep a quality experience intact. The Target on Paseo and I25 is an example of a well-maintained store with friendly employees.
This Target is close to my home. I really like the remodeling they did to this location, which was for a long time kinda an outdated and rundown location. The parking lot STILL could use some improvement and some work. It is one of the worst, non-functional, and very unsafe* parking lots of Target of the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho locations *the lighting isn't great, the asphalt is very bumpy and shoddy and there have been a few instances of sketchy people in broad daylight and darker hours. However, the store is very clean and a lot more open since the remodel. The Customer Service team is on point and very proactive in helping out. I usually see lots of people on the floor trying to clean up and restock things. This particular Target has also improved because they are getting better stocked with their inventory of things. I purchase toys and games and before this location would be the "bare-bones" location and I would usually try to avoid it on my toy-hunts, because I've been let down in the past. However, they seem to keep everything fully shelved; even if it's not what I'm looking for it's nice to see they still offer variety. Their clothing and linens are nicely put together and in an order that makes sense. It does appear that the restrooms did get skipped on the remodel however as they seem just as small and dingy as they were before. It does seem like they have new hardware, but it already seems old and worn-out. Lastly, I'd like to say that I LOVE their Halloween decorations. They seem produced by Corporate and are not gaudy or overbearing at all. Very nice.
The employees that I actually talked to when I needed help we're super friendly and helpful which is very awesome. The only issue I had was with my handicap cart. It died before I was done shopping but at least it died close enough to the checkout that I was able to manage.
Since Covid, so many things have changed. Supplies are scarce and selection is spotty and help is rare. I ran into Target just to grab something last minute. It was exactly where it should be, was priced pretty competitively and when I went up front there were several check out open so checkout was quick and easy. Score!
Great place but the people can’t move any slower. What is with New Mexico and a low sense of urgency. The cashiers they’re moving so slowly it is unreal. Why would you hire slow people to be cashiers? Is it because you don’t have any other choice considering a local population? I would believe that.
Gentleman at the front was very helpful and prompt. I went late last night towards closing, everything was clean and all displays were well kept and organized. :
