Jefferson City Police Department

Having lived in Jefferson City for most of 20 years I have to say that the Jefferson City Police Department is among the most professional, courteous, and respectful of any city I have ever lived in my life...and I am not a young man. This is "Missouri's Capital-Police Department" and they set a very high bar for all other police agencies in this state and set an example for all other states to follow. This professional behavior reflects directly upon the police officers, office staff, and your all important friendly dispatchers. The character and demeanor of the men and women patrolling these streets is superior in every way that I have observed. The humanity displayed as they go about their work is brilliantly displayed as they justly serve this community. And God knows that given the "shadows of inhumanity" displayed to the world regarding the state of the State of Missouri lately, Jefferson City police can be depended on to give us all a breath of fresh air by elegantly serving justice at every turn of the corner. The city council of The City of Jefferson should be commended for having the administrative savvy and good sense to keep on such a strong and honorable Chief of Police. He is making all of YOU look good too. Keep on encouraging the good character and mild manners that exists within this wonderful group of officers, supervisors, and staff. Keep that bar raised high.

F**k Jefferson City Police. They ruined my life by accusing me of a crime i have not committed. Stating that i was breaking in peoples vehicles. I was walking minding my own business literally 3 minutes away from my house when they stopped me and placed me in handcuffs. They failed to read me my rights because they planned to interrogate me at the police department. I've done my researched and they had to read me my rights if they were going to interrogate in which they tried to but I immediately asked my lawyer. Now im going to court and the police stole my phone thinking I took it from someone else. F**K the police they lost my respect. I always could rely on them but not anymore. They failed to do there jobs accordingly thinking they could do whatever they want just because there white and can hide behind those badges. Take off the badges and there nothing.

Ohhh I could say so much about JCPD. Smh. Only been in Missouri for a couple months and I already don't respect and is afraid of JCPD. Things need to change ASAP. They shouldn't even get one Star

Great experience. They treat everyone equal and fair. I don't getting arrested or pulled over but if you have to be these gals and guys are the one's to do it.
