I enjoyed my 4 years at this school. although it is true they care more about you if you participate in sports, or your parents contribute to the school. being of Mexican American I didn't get treated like a minority and I loved that I loved being just like everyone else. This is an amazing school though it has its cons all school do and that shouldn't mean it is a bad place! The dress code is tough for females but they expect woman to be respectful of themselves and they are a bit old fashion but in my years they meant no harm by it. I was in Choir and Forensics and I absolutely loved my couches and enjoyed the experiences i went through! I will forever be a Patriot!

Strict schools create rebellious kids. As someone who was born and raised in Virginia, (where school isn't hell) I can tell you that school is much more enjoyable and runs far more smoothly when things are less strict. This place is truly a prison. High school is supposed to be a time where you are given more freedoms, not when those freedoms are taken away. It is a disgrace that the people who run this school just want to make others miserable. Being a teenager is tough enough already without people making school a nightmare. All of these ridiculous rules are far more distracting than it would be if there were less strict rules. Lots of schools are like this and in my opinion, it needs to change. They need to start worrying a little less about whether or not grown men will get "distracted" by my outfit, and need to focus a little more on other things like the overwhelming amount of drugs that are brought to school by some students every day. Just saying.

hepatitis c is a major issue here. we all need "alone time" in the bathroom, but that's not why the walls are white. As you can tell, i did not learn the basic conventions of English here. What i have learned is how to make biscuits at Bojangle's ( it's Bo time!) In all seriousness, why haven't we fixed the hepatitis? i don't get any, so i can't complain, but I hear my classmates' cries from the bathroom ( maybe they are enjoying alone time) Honestly, it's not a bad school, but could go easier on dress codes (it's a knee, not a boob)

I loved my years in this High School. I have lots of memories to look back at. I would love to go back to those young days, life has just flew by so fast. I loved all my teachers & all my friends I met there over my 4 years I went there. Its been 8 long years since class 2009. I thank u God for giving me the best years I could ever ask for. God Bless :)

I only spent two years here. I went to school in Baltimore, MD and Madison County, NC before finally coming here (moved around a bit). So, I have experiences to compare this school against. In my opinion this school was great. I learned more here than anywhere else. The teachers were very good and passionate about teaching. This school is fairly large and has lots of students. In the beginning, being a new kid, it was a little difficult. Got lost a lot but, everyone was very helpful. My grades were better here than at any other school I went to. Not that the academics were easier... the teaching was better quality. Every school has it's issues. But, I wish I could have spent all 4 years here. No doubt in my mind that I would have learned a lot more.
